  1. Yes, ok, but if you follow my instructions you will find that the Open with dialog has an option to make the selection permanent, so you don't need to use it anymore.
  2. Someone named rafroller has expressed interest (via PM to me, for some reason...). So I'll let you decide if you think he'd be an acceptable replacement.
  3. Right-click a file of the type you want to make default, then go to Open With, then Choose Default Program. If Paint.NET is in the list that shows up, click that and make sure the "Always use" box is checked. If it's not, you'll have to browse to C:\Program Files\Paint.NET\PaintDotNet.exe. If Open With isn't in the list when you right-click the file, try again and hold Shift while right-clicking.
  4. After you've made a new brush in the folder it opens (which has to be PNG format), go back to Smudge and see if the new brush is in the dropdown, above the add/remove option.
  5. Above the Colors window, you have a floating title bar. That's Paint.NET, you've just shrunk the window to the minimum possible size. Click and drag any of the edges to resize it to something usable.
  6. Haha what even This is awesome and useless.
  7. Easier way is to open the brush dropdown and click Add/Remove Brushes. It'll take you right to the brush folder. You don't need to restart Paint.NET or Smudge; new brushes work immediately.
  8. Smudge used to include the Paintbrush but doesn't anymore. Any PNG can be used as a brush.
  9. Seems to be a cache issue. Just report them when you see them and a mod will edit/save the post, which seems to clear it up.
  10. I vote yes because fortnightly is the coolest word I've heard all day.
  11. Workaround: Create the text at 4x the size you need, then go to Image > Resize and scale it down to 25%. This should gve the text silky smooth edges. (When resizing, make sure Resampling is set to "Best Quality")
  12. You need to be using the latest version of Paint.NET, which is 3.5.10
  13. You need to be using the latest version of Paint.NET, which is 3.5.10. PDN3.36 is quite old.
  14. Yes, that is fine for any of my plugins
