  1. And if you don't have .NET 3.5 installed, Paint.NET will run on 4.0 anyway so.................................................................................................................................................
  2. To run Paint.NET on Windows Vista, you still need to install SP1 (SP2 is recommended).
  3. You can't recover any changes between the last time you saved and the crash. What you can do is post the crash log from your desktop so we can find out why it crashed, and hopefully prevent crashes in the future.
