  1. All right, let's see how the new polls work...
  2. All right, entry is now closed. Voting will begin Saturday.
  3. Oh, I like, this looks easier than my method of doing shadows.
  4. I don't believe .NET 4.0 will damage Windows 7 in any way at all. You're safe.
  5. Imagine how it is for the veteran forum members.
  6. Welcome to our wonderful Pictorium Medieval. I hate to be a raincloud but according to the rules you cannot attach pictures for your Gallery in the Pictorium. You can however use a hosting site like Photobucket, Imageshack, or Tinypic.
  7. Impressive Signature!

  8. I can't replicate the Gaussian blur error you had. Also, I've been using Paint.NET a fair bit since upgrading (which was the only problem I've noticed), and I've experienced no instability, and all my plugins are fully functional. Again, this is with Vista Home Premium x64. EDIT: Correction, most of my plugins are fully functional. Codelab for one is not, thanks for asking BoltBait.
  9. We've had some good entries this week. Entry into SOTW 36 ends tomorrow night, roughly 30 hours from this post. That's a lot of time to work on a signature, let's have some more before the contest closes and voting begins!
  10. I ran the installer, it unpacked the .NET installer which after a short delay (which I though might be what Leif was referring to) ran and downloaded and installed .NET 4.0. I let this run in the background while browsing the web after watching the .NET installer for a bit to make sure it was working. About 10 or 15 minutes later I checked back and while .NET had finished installing, Paint.NET had not (I started up PdN and checked the version number to be sure).
  11. I believe i can second Leif's report. I'm using Windows Vista 64-bit. .NET 4.0 installation concluded, but the Paint.NET installer did not finish.
  12. I guess my first choice is out of the question then. You can still hope for a plugin I suppose.
  13. In my humble opinion, it would make more sense for the developers of Re-Volt to make the game use .bmp, as it is a recognized standard.
  14. Let's keep conversation on topic. L3ron made a choice and on this forum it was the wrong one. Case closed. So, how about those Signatures?
  15. Attachments were not carried over into the new forums, and users will have to fix links themselves, all the ones from the old forum were broken by the move. So: download plugins from those who have either fixed the hosting or hosted it on their own site.
  16. Generally, it's a render: a premade stock image available on a website like PlanetRenders.
  17. Well, the rules specify 150x500 pixels, it doesn't really say which way. On the other hand, this is a signature competition, and the idea is to make sigs useable on this forum (unless they're too large). I would say keep it horizontal.
  18. I was inquiring whether that post merited removal or not. Guess BoltBait answered that! Also, I added a small rules section in the first post of this thread. Nothing major, I just wanted to explain what this thread was for and what goes in it. Just take a glance at it. EDIT: Also, I added a new header and theme title for the SOTW. Love it? Hate it?
  19. I've moved your post from the entry thread here to the discussion thread Weylin. Thank you for pointing out my mistake, just PM or put it in here in the future.
  20. @your status - I am in the process of being accepted as a comp host for Avatar of the Week.

  21. Did we have an avatar of the week at one time? I can't recall. At any rate, I would play.
  22. SOTW 36: Fantasy, is now under way!
