  1. VOTING COMPLETE I'm pleased to announce the winner of this SOTW: Frontcannon! Congratulations also to our second place contestant Leonte, and our third place contestant j.d.melek. Explanation: Barbieq25 has chosen Time as our subject for this week. To clarify, the signature can be anything related to time. There just needs to be a number included somewhere following any formatting conventions appropriate for time - 24:00hr, o'clock. AM/PM etc. So it's not enough to just put the number (e.g. 7 in - e.g. 7pm, 7 o'clock etc). Here are a few ideas Barbieq25 threw out there: - a timepiece (realistic or abstract, analogue or digital) - any specific time (lunchtime, coffee time, knock off time) - analogue or digital (24:00hr e.g. 23:59 as shown on a monitor of some description) - timetable for school bus, train (or the ticket, done in PDN of course! Hidden Content: The deadline for this competition is 23:59 (11:59pm) (EST) on Monday, May 31st.To see the current time in EST (my time), click here (WorldTimeServer.com). Check the SOTW Rules! If your entry breaks any of the rules it will be disqualified. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Max sig dimensions 500x200. NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500x150, so if it's too large don't try to use it as your sig. No crude / offensive language, pics, et cetera. Sig must follow the set theme. Only one entry per person and no modifications to your image are allowed after submitting your entry. You must post the URLs to any and all stock images used in your sig. You are allowed one post in this topic. That post should include your sig, links to your source images. Placeholders (empty-posting now, editing in a link to your sig later) are not permitted. Use new, fresh siggys. The idea is to get you to create new things, and if you're digging back in your storehouse of unused signatures, you're not doing that. Note also that the winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition! ------------------------------------------------------------------ This thread is for posting your entries only! If you wish to talk about one of the entries you can do so here. If a comment or other non-entry post is mistakenly made in this thread, it will be moved without penalty to the discussion thread. Just don't be surprised when it magically jumps over there. Good luck all, and thanks for participating!
  2. Would I have to do anything special to try this on my Radeon?
  3. Congrats to our winner, the results are in.
  4. Bump! We need to break this tie soon, vote everyone!
  5. Submission ends tomorrow night.
  6. Here is a good simple tutorial for Photoshop. You could try adapting it to Paint.NET.
  7. Unless I misworded it, the rules should say that the competition is limited to 500x200, but the board is limited to 500x150. Ok, I see what you meant Goonfella. I fixed the slightly confusing wording there.
  8. The theme is: Your Favorite Food! Explanation: For this week's competition, csm725 has chosen Your Favorite Food as the subject. This is pretty straightforward, make a signature based on your favorite food. One special rule: NO STOCKS, as per csm725's request. It'd be great if you share with us the name(s) of the fonts used (if any). Basically, all the normal rules still apply. The deadline for this competition is 23:59 (11:59pm) (EST) on Monday, May 17th. To see the current time in EST (my time), click here (WorldTimeServer.com). Voting Done! Congrats to Barbieq25 who placed first with 9 votes! Congratulations are also in order for GCFuture and L3ron, who placed second and third, respectively. Thank you to everyone for participating, I look forward to SOTW 39, whatever it may be! 9. Relax csm725, I hereby declare you the official winner. Starting Monday, I should have more free time, and I will be ready to set up SOTW 38. Send me your choice for the next competition as soon as you are ready.
  10. Can you end SOTW 37?

  11. Sorry about the delay declaring the victory. Due to complications regarding my ride home from college (or now, lack thereof), I had to pack up and leave earlier than expected. I'll get on this as soon as I can. Apologies to you all.
  12. Thank you all for your entries. Voting will begin tomorrow (Monday) and end on Wednesday.
  13. All right, newer Edffects! The cross processing is especially nice.
  14. Entry ends tomorrow night, get those entries in folks.
  15. Happy Birthday Sozo !

  16. Frontcannon, you post does seem intended to paint Rick in a bad light. Just remember that Rick does provide this program free of charge, it's not like he has an obligation to bash his head against a coding wall for us.
  17. Welcome to the Paint.NET forums.
  18. I plan on entering this, just got to find the time between finals.
  19. Boot Camp, or a virtual machine program like Parallels are the only ways to use Paint.NET on other systems. Once upon a time there was Paint.Mono though. It never got off the ground.
  20. The title gives off all the wrong impressions.
