  1. Windows is called by paint.net to do the printing. This is an issue with Windows. Believe me, paint.net does not have any code in it to display the printing dialog boxes or do the actual printing. It simply calls Windows and sends it a copy of your image. After that, Windows is in control.
  2. Yes. Just click (upper right corner of your paint.net window), then click Tools.
  3. True. But, if you put your cursor in their, you can move around with your arrow keys. BTW, this is not something that I have control over. Adding a scrollbar is something Rick would have to do and it would apply to all effects that use a text control.
  4. Did you run the installer file from directly inside of the zip archive? That's not gonna work. You need to unzip the file to your desktop first and run it from there.
  5. Yes, you will be able to do all that in paint.net. It will just be a matter of getting used to the new UI.
  6. Before trying an effect, be sure you don't have an active selection by pressing Ctrl-D and make sure you have selected the proper layer in the layer docker window.
  7. Thanks for the bug report. It is fixed now. Download v1.2 in the first post. ...and, now you know why I never put new plugins right into my plugin pack.
  8. Your hard drive is broken. I can't fix it from here. You need to find a local "computer guy".
  9. Someone who knows computers. Maybe your local computer repair shop.
  10. This just proves that you have a problem with your computer. You need to get that fixed before you can continue. Find someone local who can fix it for you.

  13. In the screenshot you provided, after typing DIR it shows a directory in there called "1264146131". I gave you two commands that would remove that directory and everything in it.
  14. Vignette is built-in to paint.net and my Vignette+ is part of my plugin pack (link in sig.)
  15. Put your text on it's own layer and run Effects > Object > Object Shadow Adding that code into this plugin would be... complicated. You know me so well... OK. Download v1.1 in the first post.
  16. BoltBait's Meme Maker Plugin v1.3 If you are using Paint.NET v3.5.11, Download here: MemeMaker13.zip (v1.3) Unzip this to your desktop and run the Install_MemeMaker.BAT file to install. If you are using paint.net v4.0.6+, Download here: BoltBait's Plugin Pack for paint.net v4.0.6+ (v1.3 with Shadow option) Once installed, you'll find this under the Effects > Photo > Meme Maker menu. 17. Invision Power Services might have a list. But, we're discovering them as we go along.
  18. Delete that directory "1264146131" and everything in it. DEL 1264146131/*.* RMDIR 1264146131 See if that fixes your problem.
  19. Press your windows key and type "cmd" and press enter. In the DOS box, type CD %LocalAppData% type CD PAINT.NET type CD SESSIONDATA type DIR Show us the results.
  20. The bug is on your system. It looks like your harddrive is failing. It is not a bug in paint.net. You need to fix your system before trying to install paint.net again.
  21. Make your comments constructive in nature or find yourself another message board to annoy. You have been warned.
  22. It could actually be very important. The info I was after was your video card info. Rick might be able to correlate multiple similar bug reports and adjust his code based on a similar video card.
  23. Sorry, xod, if I wasn't clear... After clicking click the Diagnostics tab (not the Plugin Errors tab). Then, click the "Copy to clipboard" button and post that info here.
