  1. EER, be careful with that... you're replacing 3 DIV open tags with 2. Your HTML will no longer be balanced. No source button?! Gah! That sucks. Well, I guess UBB tags are a thing of the past! Welcome to the future!
  2. Things are pretty well settled. Go ahead and start making changes to your threads now. Some of the old tags won't be coming back, like the old Hide tag. Use the new Spoiler tag by pressing the eyeball in the post editor. Another tag we lost was the donate button. Just replace that with a paypal.me link. If you don't know how to make one of those, check with paypal.
  3. (If you are just here to download plugins for your own personal use, then you don't need to worry about this stern message -- it's not meant for you.) Please note that the plugins that are published in this forum are not covered by the same copyright and license that paint.net is, unless explicitly stated by the plugin author. Each plugin author holds the copyright for their plugin(s) and chooses the distribution and licensing terms. What this really means is: If you want to redistribute any plugin listed in this forum, you must get permission from the author of that plugin unless the author has already explicitly given permission for that. This is a very serious matter. There have been instances of people trying to make a quick buck by bundling up paint.net under a different name and with a bunch of ripped-off plugins from here. This is not permitted or legal. If you are here to download plugins to your own computer so that you can create amazing art and monetize that art, you're fine. Go for it.
  4. Competition Rules Hosts Competitions in this forum are run by Competition Hosts. Within the Competitions forum, they are moderators. They are to be treated with the same respect as any other member of the Paint.NET Forum staff. If a Host is abusing his or her power, report it to a moderator or administrator. If a Host is no longer hosting a specific competition, they will return to being a regular member. Discussion All competitions will have an entry thread and a discussion thread. Discussion in an entry thread will be deleted, and the violator may receive a warning. Competitions Competitions should have specific deadlines for entries and voting. Whether late entries are permitted is up to the Host. The forum staff reserves the right to remove any contest at any time for any reason, including but not limited to extended inactivity or lack of participation.
  5. No one is getting mad. I think we've determined that paint.net (and Windows) is working as designed. So, let me reiterate: We are not youtube experts here. You really need to take your issue to a youtube support forum. And before you ask, no, I don't know where that would be.
  6. paint.net is working fine, and so is Windows. You need to take this to a youtube support forum.
  7. I suspect you are hosting your pictures on a server which is changing the image to be non-transparent or your are using a really old browser that doesn't support transparent png images (like IE6).
  8. You're viewing one picture at a time in the picture viewer... there is no picture underneath it.
  9. You are complaining about the black background... what color do you expect the background to be?
  10. This is because Windows puts your image over a black area for viewing. Everything is working as designed here.
  11. I downloaded the image and opened it in paint.net and everything looked fine. The file is 32-bit and the transparent areas were still there. Why do you think there is a problem?
  12. Post one of your .png files here. One that has transparent areas. We'll take a look at it.
  13. Make sure on the save screen to choose "32-bit" or "Auto-detect".
  14. All that did was change how the paragraph tag is rendered. It is still a new paragraph <p> and not a new line <br>.
  15. In the upper right corner of every page, click on your name and choose "Account settings". You should see your signature in there. I edited it for you. Hope you like it.
  16. paint.net is not designed to be integrated with other applications.
  17. The Circle Text plugin can do what you want: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/16347-circle-text/ Just look at the pictures in that post to see what settings to use.
  18. If you are asking if there is an automatic/automated way of doing this using paint.net, then NO there is not.
  19. I have not heard the results of submitting the ticket (only Rick would know). But, I did just successfully edit one of my posts that was giving me fits before. See if you can edit your posts now.

  21. I just tried to edit one of my posts that did not have an attachment. I got this error: _____________
