RyuinfinityPDN
I think every effect should have a button on it called "Omnilayer" that makes it effect all layers. It is really annoying to blur/distort/whatever every layer separately! Quote -- Make an Explosion in Space--
MiguelPereira
That's not possible because effects and Adjustments can't access other layers besides the one selected... that's a Plugin restringment. It is really annoying to blur/distort/whatever every layer separately! This is kind of the point of having layers: To be able to affect each layer with a separate effect. If you need to have all layers get the same treatment, you either don't create layers and just run the effect or you collapse the layers and run it. I don't see a point, even if this were possible, to do something of this nature.
Simon Brown
Just run the effect on one layer and click on each other layer individually and press Ctrl-F.
Ash
Just run the effect on one layer and click on each other layer individually and press Ctrl-F. Ding ding ding! That's what I do. 'course it's possible - if PDN calls the effect/adjustment for each layer. Wouldn't even have to change plugins for that. Quote I would write plugins, if I knew what kind of plugins were needed.. Simon Brown
It depends whether you are: A: Asking plugin authors to include this feature. B: Asking RB to add this feature to PDN. A is impossible, B is not.
Rick Brewster
huh? but didn't Rick said that plugins couldn't access other layers besides the active one? Doesn't mean Paint.NET couldn't start up "N" copies of the plugin renderer... MiguelPereira
Doesn't mean Paint.NET couldn't start up "N" copies of the plugin renderer... that's true, but pdn does not support this at the moment... or does? Quote [The stock on my sig is a photo I took not a render from Splatter] [My deviantART][My Gallery][My Space]
