SAND33P
Just rather curious what you all would think would be the 'perfect' PDN setup, so what specs and what equipment? As i saw Rick say that your video card doesn't affect PDN, this question popped into my head.Im not sure myself, maybe ill update my post once iv seen what you guys think
Goonfella
Well as the video card doesn`t really play a part in the performance of PDN that just leaves the CPU and RAM so I would imagine that an up to date third gen Ivy Bridge Quad core i7 chip and 6-8Mbs of RAM would be good. I am not exactly a computer geek though so I could be wrong or there might be a better alternative. I don`t know how SSD`s would help for example. That`s just how I see it anyway. Anyone got any better ideas? Quote Please feel free to visit my Gallery on PDNFans And my Alternatives to PDN
Rick Brewster
The SSDs help because the history files can take awhile to write out and read back from disk. Goonfella
Thanks Rick. So there you go. Plenty of RAM, one of the newest i7`s and an SSD to speed things up. Start saving the pennies!
