Fabian13
I have a picture of a shovel of which I want to change the red colour to blue. What is the simpliest way to do this in Paint.NET? I have tried many things things, but I get a lot of trouble with shadows and sun shine areas.
BoltBait
You're looking for the Conditional Hue/Saturation Adjustment which is located in this pack: Quote Click to play: Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and how about a Computer Dominos Game
Fabian13
This is looking very good! The only thing I don't understand is what you main with "use a transparent radial gradient to blend into the background of the original image". Is it also possible to use the colour accent tool to remove the background of the image? So I only see the shovel. P.S. We don't have any of them on stock! Fabian13
With Conditional Hue/Saturation Adjustment I can change to many different colours, but not all of them. Are there any other methods to change a colour which can't be selected with Conditional Hue/Saturation Adjustment?
pdnnoob
Last I checked, all the colors were possible (with some settings manipulation). What color aren't you able to get? Fabian13
For example: dark green and white / cream Edited May 29, 2012 by Fabian13
pdnnoob
This...calls for screenshots! The following settings get a dark green (darker green can be obtained through adjustments of the lightness slider) To get cream, set the hue slider to a yellow color, then increase the lightness Edited May 29, 2012 by pdnnoob Quote No, Paint.NET is not spyware...but, installing it is an IQ test. ~BoltBait Blend modes are like the filling in your sandwich. Fabian13
I see the problem. I used "Hue/saturation" in stead of "Conditional Hue/Saturation".
