RaveN
This was a really hard decision, but a friend last night decided He wasn't going to use his Photoshop anymore, so he gave me his key. I am now going to be using that, so I don't know if I am still welcome here.. Forgive me oh Rick, For I have sinned.

Bob
What about the starting time? Photoshop is more looooonger & useless to do simple tasks. Quote No. Way. I've just seen Bob. Zacariem
Hmmmmm. Well there's one think I can say... The Paint.NET forum ROCKS! And that's one thing that Photoshop will never have because Adobe are always busy and can't talk, where as Rick here is allways up for a discussion! I think it will be a long time before I'll be leaving the PDN forum!!! Zacariem 8) Quote They said we couldn't fly. We did. Anythings possible! jake2k
I've had photoshop for about three months now and I tryed to get used to using it but I decided to stay with Paint.net. PS just seems so cluttered to me and pdn is very easy to use and produces some great results. I don't think I'll ever stop using this program. jake2k
Its not just a graphic program, its a GREAT graphic program and the only reason I'm still doing computer gfx. It ps was the only thing I had I would have quite a long time ago. Just think about it this way, I like Paint.net as much as you like Harry Potter Quote ^Click to visit my Flickr Gallery^
trickman
OK, no offense, but you guys are taking this way to sieriously/persoanally. It's a graphic program lol! It's a graphic program that will beat GIMP and PS's Gradient tool and it's free!
13_15_4_14_1_18
This topic could go on forever with software wars. I have photoshop, I have Paint.NET and GIMP too. I don't think choosing one is the best approach. Each has its strengths and weaknesses. There's no need to fight about them.. I probably sound like some politician but this seems to be happening more and more. Think of each program as a different medium for a painting/drawing. They are more suitable in certain situations. It shouldn't be a matter of "I have this now, so I have to get rid of what I used to have". Sorry for wasting your time if you read this far.. just needed to get that out.
