DarkShock
It would be pretty difficult to control the direction of where your lightning effect is going. It involved using the Clouds effect which pretty comes up with a random path. There might be other ways to make a lightning effect that has a direction you can control. I just don't think there is a tutorial on here for that. I think there might be a plug-in to help to you remove the background, but I'm not which one it is. Ego Eram Reputo
ok do u know an other lightning which i can controll? And do u know how i easy can remove all the black background in a lightning picture? The lightning from that tutorial generally runs along the gradient (at right angles to a line between the control nubs when you are drawing the gradient). Two things to try: 1. Tighten the gradient so it is compressed into a smaller band. 2. Render the clouds smaller so there is more of them (and thus tighter). This will give you more control over where the lightning track runs, but it will still be a random track.
