iluvpiano
I need to fit a circle jpg image into a circle logo on our website. Is it possible to use this program to make the outline of the square behind it turn clear? Here's where it needs to fit if you want to see what I mean. http://www.4391.webmedley2.com Top left corner - circle of faces Thanks, S
Simon Brown
Select the part of the image inside the fading border, press ctrl-I and then the del key.
LFC4EVER
If you have to save it as a jpg, then you can't get it with a clear background. JPG doesn't support transparency. You'd have to save it as a .PNG once you've removed the white background. Quote ☆★☆★Merry Christmas★☆★☆ .::.My Gallery.::.Make Gold Text!.::. iluvpiano
I could use a gif. Would that work?
Simon Brown
GIF does support transparency but only 256 colours - which may make the photograph look ugly.
Ego Eram Reputo
If you have to save it as a jpg, then you can't get it with a clear background. JPG doesn't support transparency. If a *.jpg is really critical (as Simon said, *.GIF wouldn't do the photo justice), then why not paint the corners of the image the same color as the website background?
