Ego Eram Reputo
Use the magic wand to select the gray background. Adjust the hardness so that all of the background is selected. Invert the selection with Ctrl + I Press Delete on your keyboard (not Backspace) Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker

Had the background been same color I could just paint it with brush, but there is a slight gradient.

d2zzzer
I only named it background, it's not actually a 2nd layer, I need to create the background in its place so it wouldn't be visible that it has been added. I found this guide on youtube, it looks good enough, though maybe there is perhaps something better?
Solution ardneh Posted July 25, 2022 Solution Share Posted July 25, 2022 (edited) Clone Stamp works well on the image that you posted.
