can't install

hey, hope you're having a good day, recently i had to do a factory reset on my laptop, and I'm a huge fan of paint.net. when i get the download file, it extracts, but halfway through installation it just closes and nothing happens, ive restarted my computer and everything and nothing will help. :(

If it didn't finish, how do you know where the halfway point is? :lol::D

 

What's the last thing you see before the installation closes?

 

You can try installing the .NET Framework before starting the paint.net installation.

because i was watching it install.... and once it got around halfway/to the end it just closes mid installation. ill try downloading that thing you linked, and ill get back to you if it still isnt working.

i cant install the framework, it says its not supported on this operating system. but i have windows 10 which is fairly new.

If you have Windows 10, yet the latest .NET Framework won't let you install, then you probably haven't caught up on all of your Windows Updates.

 

Catch up on all Windows Updates and try again. Simple as that.
