  1. @sashwilko: Thank you ^^ The name is usually the hardest thing to come up with. @OverraughtEnclave: I would happily follow you through it if you did take that up @barbieq25: They are very interesting feelings to gain from my work. I usually aim for the lonely and distant feeling, but I can see where you're coming from Thank you! @Helen: Self-criticism rules pretty much everything I do, but I wouldn't be "me" without it. Thank you @Yellowman: Thank you very much! I was initially intending to alter the colours but held the idea off
  2. Bu-lump (Casually, of course..) New piece on the first page. Let me know what you think!
  3. You are seriously one of the best typographic-artist (typographists?) I've seen. Amazing work, brilliant eye for design also.
  4. I apologise for not seeing your edit earlier! It looks a lot better! Shading and composition are usually the 2 main features which bring the planets to 'life'
  5. The "clouds" ring is really cool Also, this one here: caught my attention.
  6. Hot stuff! (Forgive my pun, I'll see myself out..) I love the effects you used here The ground looks like Carbon Fibre to me, or that might just be me spending too much time in Electronics and Physics...
  7. Brilliant start to the gallery Amazing textures (something I struggle with) and, as previously said, great composition. Welcome!
  8. Your ideas are very impressive, and the texture you're using as brilliant. The only thing I'd recommend is having a few less stars (or just make them dimmer) as the brightness of the Nebula would overdo the star's brightness in reality Keep up the amazing work!
  9. @matt0185: Thank you @SAND33P: The colours always end up completely different from original plans Thank you! @Beta0: Speed arts never end up the way I want them ._. So thank you very much!
  10. I was going to post the same thing Welsh That one is really nice
  11. Okay...where to start with this... PDN = Paint[Dot]Net PDN files are Paint.Net's default filetype. It supports all the layers and stuff (keeping it simple..) within Paint.Net. PDN also supports a large amount of image file types along with additional ones you can download through Plugins -> Like the PSD Filetype. PDF = Portable Document Format For the purpose of time's sake, let's say that PDF files open up documents in a more structured, minimal way similar to Microsoft Word's files (.doc/.docx). It is NOT an image file type, or anything to do with PDN at all. The attached file is a screenshot of a PDF.
  12. @Welshblue: Oh wow that's quite an honour And nice words at the end A quote I might borrow something with obvious telepathic permission... @Helen: Thank you, again! @yellowman: Thank you! Large planets have been my Achilles' Heel for quite a while now
  13. I love the spacescape Although I would recommend you use some sharper textures Keep up the good work!
  14. Ahem ba'dump. I've made 2 pieces fairly close together, and these will be my last for a fair while Let me know what you think!
  15. Nice knowing ya Welshy... and really nice image..although I can't see ET there o.o
  16. I know this isn't the main focus, but I love the ground and reflections Brilliant as always!
  17. Try running a Surface Blur over the image. Just a slight blur ends you up with this: http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm228/Drydareelin/label_edit_zps5506558a.png">http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm228/Drydareelin/label_edit_zps5506558a.png From then on, you can use the Clone Stamp Tool to clean up the rest of the parts. I would do that for you; but I'm a little too lazy
  18. My first time at entering a competition (of any type..) on here. All PDN, although that isn't too hard to see.. Space themed! I knew you wouldn't believe it.
  19. @barbieq25: Thank you Seeing eyes everywhere is slightly creepy though ;D
  20. I got into the galleria :O Oh wow. Thank you so much sashwilko and EER! I am pretty damn grateful @Helen: Once again, thank you ^^ I've done a sort of similar idea before in one of my older images but this is pretty new @Welshblue: Why, thank you :L Although "another" is a bit of a stretch ;D @sashwilko & EER: Thank you (again) @pdnnoob: Thank you It's a bit of a shock to be honest
  21. A bump? I know of no such thing. New piece on my first page Let me know what you think!
