  11. Dianna: Depending on how badly washed out the image is, you might try Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast and/or Adjustments > Curves. The mentioned Shadow/Highlight Recovery plugin also is a good option.

  17. Once you determine how to make it work, Paint.Net Plugin Manager X is a convenient tool.
  18. PrairieGirl95: Editing this will fill in the side areas. You need to run a picture from side to side behind the middle part of the page. A standard 800X600 pixel image seems to work well. Just be sure no imagery is cut off by the mid-portion of the page. The templates on this blog site don't really match the description on the site linked to in your first post.
  19. PrairieGirl95: Are you trying to make a background for a web blog, as shown in your link, or is the image for something else? At what point are things going wrong? Could you post screenshots of your failed attempts, and point out what you don't like and how you would prefer the image to look? Need more info.
  20. hookyboysb: Might as well let us know what OS you're using as well, XP, Vista, etc. If you are using Vista find your .NET version this way: Start orb > Control Panel > Classic View(left pane) > Programs and Features. Scroll down to Microsoft .NET Framework.
  21. Spencer: From your video it looks like you have an Effects folder and a File Types folder inside your Effects folder. This isn't normal. The PdN Effects folder should have only plugin files in it, not folders. Remove those extra folders and try again. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  22. emanda1964: Thanks for the tutorial. I like this sandy wall texture. When you get a chance re-upload the missing images and edit the new image links into the tutorial. http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/7295 ... 02jeep.jpg
  23. Torndragon: In case running chkdsk doesn't help. (Try chkdsk first). From what you have posted, it sounds like you haven't tried the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility. http://support.microsoft.com/default.as ... -us;290301
