Do you have a tablet? That monster looks amazing. Perfectly matches the background, I love the glooming eyes. It's just so awesome, I love it! It's a drawing of superb quality. I could go on and on and on with this... -

[Plugin Request] Texturize and Resynthesizer
Frontcannon replied to Tiles's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
It was discussed some time ago when Adobe's Content Aware Fill went live, and I think that pyrochild said it was on his 'to-do list' but I think it's going to be fairly difficult and take a LONG time to just understand the source or even port it. Edit And now I've read your other post. Meh. -
Plugin translation scheme: including code
Frontcannon replied to Simon Brown's topic in Plugin Developer's Central
I think he meant a screenshot of the UI of the to be translated PlugIn, so we can match the template to the actual UI so we have the purpose behind certain terms and can translate it best. -

So who will decide what we translate? I'd just go with the pinned PlugIn-Packs.. though the authors will have to submit some kind of template we can use in our language pack, don't they? -

OK with me, but how will we manage the mention of the authors? Should we keep that .txt file? -

Just revised the German parts of the pack. It would be nice if the translator would know what entry he'd be dealing with, context is always important when translating words. 'forever' has alone 3 possible expressions in German.. defaultpack.zip -

The Milky Way Galaxy.. did you do that yourself?? It looks WAY to good to be true :tard2: -
Pixel Space is -kind of- finished. Lost the pdn, so the background had to remain untouched Pixel Space Here's another version with an intact space station ImageShack has resized them a bit, so if anyone wants the originals, please pm. IS hasn't resized them at all. Just copy&paste the 'direct' link to your adress bar once you clicked on the thumbnails. It gives you a better view of the tiny space station.

PlugIn Translation possible?
Frontcannon replied to Frontcannon's topic in Plugin Developer's Central
I meant it in a way that the PlugIns would have to be be usable in different versions for different languages instead of havng like a PlugIn-string which comes with pdn. Maybe I'm on the completely wrong way here. -
PlugIn Translation possible?
Frontcannon replied to Frontcannon's topic in Plugin Developer's Central
So, as I have (hopefully) understood it, the PlugIns would still have to be translated directly? They know what language they're supposed to use, but you can't have the PlugIn translation in pdn's strings.recources... From the 'PlugIn Rules': Plugins should not use the PdnResources or PdnInfo classes. The text and images that Paint.NET uses for its own user interface are not for plugins. Strings are not guaranteed to have the same text between versions, or to even exist. Same with images. If you want to take advantage of the localized text for effect submenus such as Artistic, Blurs, Distort, etc. then please use the static SubmenuNames class. -
PlugIn Translation possible?
Frontcannon replied to Frontcannon's topic in Plugin Developer's Central
The former ideas were designed without the idea of the PlugIn knowing what language is used If Simon's suggestion is successful, we can deal with it your way. -

Your thread in the Developer section was a hint -
pyrochild, there are somehow duplicates of this thread pinned, one titled "... v. 3.5" and another ".. v. 3.35". That's why I said he could just edit it.
