  1. I agree with Bleek II, but only if the dents are at a large scale, but with a low amount.
  2. Very nice! Looks like a multi-coloured flame How about something like this for the text?
  3. Can you post a larger image If you could it would help more. Thanks in advance
  4. There is some good stuff here! Its very nice, but some of the logo's are :AntiAliasingOff: 'd, try downloading the feather plugin, by Boltbait.
  5. I bet thats how you made your first piece in your gallery.
  6. Excellent shading and use of transparency gradients! Looks very real, and the wood looks just like mahogany Keep it up!
  7. Or you could try Outline Object, maybe a median blur would work too.
  8. Also, make sure that the "Disable BBCode" box is unchecked, under where you post the message.
  9. I suggest using shape3D for the rings, due to its flexibility.
  10. Great so far!! i'll look forward to seeing the final piece, i'm sure we're all in for a big treat!
  11. I wouldn't say its bad, but could do with some improvement. As its glass text, the background behind the text need to be slightly distorted. Also, try using a slightly higher opacity on the actual text, as it seems completely transparent, when glass isn't.
  12. Fading can be done by lowering the opacity of the layer.
  13. No problem, and never be afraid to ask questions, no matter how "nooby" they are. We're all noobs at one stage!
  14. The link isn't dead for me. :? On the Shape3D plugin page, go to the download page, not his website page. On the download page, download it from the actual webiste, not MediaFire.
  15. Nice gallery, looking foward to see more! My favourite is the Mac logo, its excellent!
  16. Good work Rebel28! Good use of the splatter plugin, very creative! Is it step 3 you're stuck on or step 2 where you apply the Colour Filter?
  17. Once your Sunset Tree piece is done, i reckon it is worthy of being featured in The Galleria!
  18. Try adding a border, and maybe more "funkier" text.
  19. Take a look at the help file on Paint.NET by pressing the "F1" key whilst in Paint.NET, it should provide the main basic information, alternatively go here. Take a look at the stickied tutorials in the Tutorials page, and also download the plugin packs (they will be stickied) in the Plugin page, and you can also download a few more separate ones too if you wish. Lastly, all i can say, is experiment with what you do! Try out new settings, plugins, blend modes, etc. and gradually you'll become much better! I'll look forward to see what you can make. P.S That was probably the longest post I've made here so far.
  20. A glass border? Or maybe even something whacky and wild!
  21. This plugin just applies a grey fill to the canvas, at different brightnesses depending on the intensity. It's the same for any brush i try to use. Is that what its supposed to do, or am i doing something wrong?
  22. I like it! However, i think that the outline of the lines, text and circle ruins it a bit. It would look better with a thicker more clear outline, or no outline. This is just my opinion though.
