  1. Can you possibly attach the .xaml file on here please? P.S. I just tried to attach one and it didn't work. Let me investigate further. Right - I had to save the .xaml to Dropbox here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/t8vea1c066qchgh/Ghost.xaml?dl=0 Please try to add it to your Shapes Folder and then see if it shows up.
  2. You said - " I go to the shapes tool, but the created shape won't load! " You didn't say it wasn't there until now! 1. So, you have created a shape made in the Shape Maker Tool? 2. You saved the .xaml into a Folder somewhere on your computer? 3. You moved the created .xaml Shape into the Shapes Folder in the Paint.net Folder in Programs - i.e. OS(C) - Program Files - paint.net - Shapes Folder? 4. Open PDN and go to Shapes.
  3. I hope you have read the RULES on here - especially #3. You have to "Draw" the shape out when you see it in the Shapes Menu. Hold Shift and drag with the mouse to draw the shape.
  4. Oh Boy - another wonderful cowboy town @Woodsy. All that perspective would drive me batty though . You really have a good eye for this .
  5. Hello @Imagine4 and Welcome to the forum. Those dragons are great and I especially love the first one. The shading is brilliant. The preying mantis is cool too .
  6. Hello and Welcome. It's a little difficult to know what you mean by this, so let's take it step by step. 1. You download the Plugin and unzip it and put the .dll into the Paint.net Effects Folder. 2. Restart Paint.net and then you will find it in the Menu like so:
  7. No, that's not the case. i.e. My Apple entry was 463 x 516 and became 395 x 734 in the Poll. The Poll size stays the same whether casting the vote or viewing it for the results. You can check this when you set up the shield Poll. Edit: It seems the Poll software does not resize the vertical images. It's curious in the Filled Glass Comp where the software resized most of the entries, but left one of @MadJik's and @MJW's at the same initial size.
  8. I've just done a quick calculation on what the Poll Software does and it seems that if you post an image roughly 500 x 200 it will reduce the size by 80%. My entry was a lot smaller to begin with and it didn't make it any smaller. So, I guess if one wants the Poll image to show at a slightly bigger image, you must post something a bit smaller then 500 x 200 . The same thing happens in @toe_head2001's comps and I recall that @MJW was concerned when it first happened.
  9. I did suggest this to @MadJik - but he really, really wanted the Panda. Sorry @welshblue - but it's not my doing. It's the forum software's fault. It shrinks the entries automatically. Mine only looks bigger as it's upwards.
  10. Apologies @Maximilian - I just posted the Poll when your message arrived. However, I really think that 2 weeks is sufficient for entries.
  11. The Panda Poll is now open until: Saturday 2nd September, 2017 - 7 pm UK time & 2 pm EST. World Clock.
  12. Hello @hans19 and Welcome to Paint.net. Have you tried this: https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/15611-raw-file/ Once installed, restart PDN. Now you can use the "file->open" to import *.RAW files.
  13. We do have an 'Overlay' Blending Mode option in the Layer Properties window . (But - I have have misunderstood the question.) P.S. Changing blend modes is tricky and often you get a funny result if you try to change both layers. Perhaps reading this will help: https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/BlendModes.html
  14. You are such a sweetie @Scooter - you never fail to bring a big smile to my face. Thank you very much .
  15. A great set of new images with these new plugins @Seerose . The flower is gorgeous .
  16. You are most welcome and I just gave you your first Rep point
  17. You need to uninstall the broken bits by using this tool: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/mats/program_install_and_uninstall Then try to install Paint.net again and please use this site to download it - the big DOT - from here: https://www.getpaint.net/download.html
  18. Thank you @welshblue so glad you like it . I love watching those antique shows too. @lynxster4 thanks so much . Great to have you stop by and comment @barbieq25 . Dear @Woodsy you are very kind . @LionsDragon That pen you had sounded very precious indeed. Thank you for the nice words . @Seerose A big hug and many thanks . Thanks too to @ReMake and @toe_head2001 for the Reps
  19. And now - for something Italian - sorry, it's glass again .
  20. @welshblue - Thank you so much . 'Tis funny - I didn't notice the ear until you pointed it out. And ....... so it does flop from side to side. I think I must have made an ear a slightly different shape on one of the layers (I had to make 8 different positions) and it ended up like that. A case of - if I'd tried for that it probably wouldn't have worked .
