  1. Just a thought, but can't you add a checkbox, like "Draw Background" and just run Add Noise (or better, Add Noise +) first in the background? Well, it's true that the interface seems already quite complicated. My 2 cents.
  2. The only problem is that this code doesn't work.
  3. No offense, but you just added "dialog" Anyway, the version is in the crashlog.
  4. Given the key sentence is: Yes, there is. It's named the magnetic lasso.
  5. Given the algorithm is freely available, seeing plugin code for another application will not be useful. M2cpdhm.
  6. Is there a pdncrash.log file on your desktop? If so please open it, and paste its content here.
  7. Umm, this tutorial definitely need improvements. I mean, there 2 plugins that will ease this a lot. Stay tuned, I might wrote it before Christmas. @ Myrddin: I think you can get rid of the "links updated" stuff in your sig.
  8. Thanks to point the cons / reasons it was removed so I don't have to do so. I was about to say the same, but I thought: What about calling it "Something else"? Like "Add a marker" or something. It will add a nice "Marker added", maybe with a cool yellow/cream background, and automatically scroll so it will be the first item on the window. For sure, you can scroll back to see the rest of the history and stuff. Now I'm wondering I just wrote the same thing you did. I bet Rick's answer will be "I understand this is totally useful, but it's a v4.0 level of / low priority feature". Changing your thread title is highly recommended. One more thing: if this feature will be implemented, ability to name/rename the marker will be totally kool.
  9. Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean. Could you be more precise?
  10. What guitar / guitarist do you like the most? Do you have a favorite music genre (involving guitar is a plus)?
  11. Why don't you just export it in PNG, in Inkscape? You'll get a zillion options to tweak the size and stuff. I think you don't understand the difference between container, vector, and pure bitmap format.
  12. Hooow, scanning with a scanner! Well, it may seems obvious, but the %Temp% thing bugged me (I was wondering why you were mentioning WIA XD) Very sorry. I totally misunderstood what you wrote. I think everyone have those moments...
  13. Dunno if you figured it out by yourself, but Well, go 64-bit and double your RAM.
  14. You're barely asking for what's called :Layers:Layers, 'am right?
  15. Because 2((1/2W x 1/2H x 4) x (L + 2)) =/= (W x H x 4) x (L + 2) if W = 7 H = 9 the former is equal to 378 and the latter to 756.
  16. When you scan with an anti-virus/spyware/stuff, right? The magic behind the History feature is saved to the hard disk, to avoid overkilling memory, look at the v3.0 changelog:
  17. I think I see what you mean, but I'm pretty busy this week.
  18. Does Spongey's code looks good, dear C# Master?
  19. ^ Do you have a bigger version? It seems really nice from what I see
