  2. Heh. I see EVERYTHING. 8) @Peter Midgley: Thanks!
  3. This is something that MUST be left up to Rick.
  4. Did you purposely go out to "top" the sig I featured in the galleria?
  5. This forum is for Paint.NET bug reports and troubleshooting. If you are having trouble installing plugins, read this thread: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/1708-p If you are having trouble with a specific plugin, first make sure you are using the latest version of that plugin. If that doesn't fix the problem, post your issue in that plugin's thread in the plugin forum: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/forum/7-p Individual plugin authors typically don't read this forum and therefore won't see your bug report. If you do post plugin problems in this forum, your post will be locked. No hard feelings.
  6. Search around in the plugin forum for the updated drop shadow plugin. Next time, post plugin issues in the plugin's own thread in the plugin forum. Closed.
  7. You probably haven't selected the top most layer. BTW, for the future, post questions about a tutorial in the tutorial thread itself. Closed.
  8. Your best bet is to look around the Tutorials section and try out a few of them. viewforum.php?f=15 That should give you some ideas. EDIT: Here's a tutorial you might enjoy: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=5087

  10. Like this: viewtopic.php?p=22944#p22944
  11. Read this post: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1096 It contains links to 3 tutorials to get you started.
  12. Sounds like a job for the Image Hospital. Repost there. Closed.
  13. Keep those nominations coming. I just haven't had time to do any promoting lately. And, none of the other mods are setup to do them. Rick is working with the other mods to get their FTP accounts setup. And, I'm asking the government to add extra hours to each day so that I can get caught up.
  14. Well, it sounds like you have it all worked out. Download the source to Paint.NET and pop it in! I'm dying to see it.
  15. Find your Paint.NET icon (on your desktop). Right-click on it and choose "Properties" from the menu. On the General Properties page, click the "Find target" button. In the window that opens up, double-click on the Effects folder. THAT is where you store effects dll files.
  16. I just renamed it to "Color and Black and White - The Pleasentville Effect" Let's see if that helps.
  17. The tutorial you want is here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4196
  18. Well, that was the original idea. See, you're trying to feather something that's already feathered.
  19. Wai- You want a new layer when NO FILES ARE OPEN? That's just crazy talk.
  20. It already exists. Here: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1152 Enjoy. 8)
