I upgraded yesterday and everything went smoothly. I'm not a big fan of the new borderless windows. I like the look of Win 7 better.

Djisves, the screenshot shows that the files are most likely in the right spot. But, I see that the OS is localized so I'm wondering if "Program Files" should also be localized.

I see you're working in a localized OS. (Spanish?) Find your Paint.NET entry in the Start menu. Right-click on that entry and choose "Properties" from that menu. On the "Shortcut" tab, click the "Open File Location" button. That should open a window to your paint.net directory. Please let us know where that location is.

Effects > Stylize menu Floyd-Steinberg Dithering This effect will reduce the colors of your image using the Floyd-Steinberg dithering technique. You've downloaded effects designed for paint.net 4.0. Upgrade your paint.net to the latest version and you should find the plugins working.
