Wow, arachnids @barbieq25! Getting the creepy shivers now. They are creatures and deserve some appreciation by someone. Just not me lol.

Say it ain't so @barbieq25! Bees oh my . . . I had a hard time choosing a bug for the Insect comp since I abhor most insects. I did not want to choose a ladybug for obvious reasons 😅. So I settled on the 3 least scary insects to me. BTW just giving you a good-natured hard time. You absolutely deserve the crown and the option to choose the SOTW theme 😍.

SOTW#236 - A Plugin You Have NEVER Used Before - Winners!
Ladybug replied to lynxster4's topic in The Archives
Great comp, congratulations to the winners. Wow @barbieq25 that is an accomplishment having all 3 entries place in the top! This was such a great way to "force" me to try to expand my plugin knowledge. I really liked that everyone had to indicate what plugin they used. A smart way to learn the potential of many plugins through someone else. Thank you @lynxster4 for hosting and woohoo for placing . Thanks also to whomever suggested the comp. -
I willl @midora, thank you.

Hello. I am looking for a spray paint 8bf file preferably. If there is an actual paint.net plugin to make that effect, that would be great. Many thanks.
-
The only advice I have is right-clicking on the file with the extension you want to change and then in File Explorer choose the button for open that has a drop-down menu in the tool bar or simply from the list that opens when you right-click choose "Open with". After using either method pick "Choose another app". When you find the program you rather use with that type of file, just make sure to select the check-box for "Always use this app to open xxx files." You have already tried setting defaults in Windows so maybe someone else has an internal way to let Paint.net open certain file extensions.

Hi @Ego Eram Reputo, I wanted to point out something you may want to edit for the next Plugin Index update. Although the title of the post is Displacement and Alpha Mask, the actual name of the plugin is Alpha-Displacement. At first I could not find it since I was searching the index using the name of the plugin. Thanks for all you do in keeping this updated. It is a very valuable tool .

How to Create a Wavy Text Appearance
Ladybug replied to Roger the Dodger's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
If you want a crumpled look you may want to try Grid Warp which can be found under Tools once its installed. -
My rendition using the popping out tut.

Thanks @barbieq25, @lynxster4 and @Pixey for your input and nice comments. Here is hoping we all get the "inspiration virus". I also don't know why I have been having trouble with my muse. Maybe she is on vacation 😜. -

Sharing some new additions to my Pictorium. Have not been all that inspired lately but I did have fun trying the pop-out photo effect and adding my own twist to it with the space shuttle and black hole. -

Very pretty @Pixey. The pearl really does pull the image together well.

Congrats to all! As soon as I saw @MJW's entry I knew he would get first place. The texture of the egg is so realistic, I was astounded 😲. @MJW turned in that entry, dropped the mic and walked away lol. Great job.

That is absolutely gorgeous @lynxster4! Never tried that plugin either. Your design has somewhat of a Fortress of Solitude vibe to it.
