  1. Kon-Boot? I think, that computer is not your own at home. Otherwise you don't need such stuff and would have admin rights. If you want to install software on a office pc at work , you can lose your job.
  2. In fact the download IS a ZIP file with an installer (EXE) inside. You will not find an official ZIP file that has all the files and directories of an installation (and by the way: thats not enough for an working installation without some entries in the registry). Find a way to reach admin privileges. Thats not so difficult. That looks a little bit illegal in my eyes, because we don't know, why you don't have admin rights.
  3. I think, the simplest way is to redo the color transition by overpainting the 3 seperate button-areas completely. If you have problems: here's my solution:
  4. Thats impossible. You have to move them. They aren't single objects in a 3D world. They are only some pixels of an 2D image. The only way I see at the moment is to select every single shape, copy resp. cut it out, put it into a new image, resize it seperately and copy back - especially if the shapes are different/irregular, because this means different aspect ratios for every shape.
  5. How exactly do you "import" text? The simple and usual way is CTRL+C and CTRL+V and thats works without "white box", if you use a transparent layer. These fonts are your installed fonts on your system. Just install fonts, that includes such symbols.
  6. No. Maybe you placed it in a wrong folder or ... ...you have the wrong ZIP. Thats not for the Shadow Plugin. Go here.
  7. Nope. It's still in the same place: Effects -> Object -> Drop Shadow... - now actual in version 3.8.0.0. by Kris Vandermotten (Vandermotten.PaintDotNetEffects.DropShadow.dll) BTW: If you have placed the new DLL while running Paint.NET you have to restart it to make it available in the menu.
  8. He wants to "combine" two such articles. He hasn't ask for realizing the torn-paper-effect itself. Now I ask (myself) what he really want. Stitching together? Overlay with additional shadows?
  9. Forget my post. I've just found, that your version number is an internal number corresponding to my own, so you have the actual version, I think. Maybe thats really the problem, depending on your browsers cache management or something else. Try to save the shown image first on hard disk and use it then.
  10. I'm not absolutely sure on Win 10, but for Win 7 NET Runtime is actual in Version 4.6.1 and Paint.NET requires 4.6 too.
  11. I think, you have misunderstood me. I don't need this small image of a shoe you have tried to paste in but the big one. However ... your linked image is okay and pasting it in a bigger image is no problem here.
  12. Can you upload this image here, so that we can check out, wether it may be corrupted in some way or something else, what cause this problem? And by the way: I still doesn't know exactly, what do you mean with "big image".
  13. The only way is to save the image with two layers (one for the image itself and one for the text) as PDN file. But because this filetype will not be recognized in normal image applications or a browser you must additional save it as normal image in PNG-, JPG- or something else format.
  14. That sounds not plausible. At least the hardware and the Windows and NET-Framework version will be the same. Additional information about new installed or updated software could be helpful. A personal note from me because I'm helping people with computer problems since more then a decade: Until now, it seems to me that you are not really interested in help. No one here has a magical ball.
  15. And what was your YESTERDAY system configuration? If you want help, you really should help US to understand the problem.
  16. What bug? For any proof it's a little bit to tiny and fast for my old eyes. Whats your point?
  17. A little bit more information about your system configuration (and a better thread title) would be helpful.
  18. I think NO. The actual version is 4.0.13 (Final: 4.13.6191.1824). Your version number rather reminds me on Microsoft Windows NET-Framework. Pixels, inch, centimeters? Because if pixels, thats not a big image. How much free RAM (memory) do you have? Take a look at the task manager -> performance.
  19. My suggestion: Double the layer, black out the screen in the lower layer completely, regardeless of destroying dogs fur. Cut out the upper left corner include the screen around dogs head so that the underlying layer become visible. Use the eraser for finetunig the cut on the fur and then use Smudging Plugin for some new strands of hair.
  20. Try Sparkle Effekt or TR's Star Filter
  21. I don't know such an 3D effect for PDN. Here is a fast chicken wings cloud...
  22. What exactly do you mean? The coloring effects or the clouds itself? If you mean the cloud structure: I think NO. The best way for cloud pictures is to take pictures of real clouds. Or you photograph something like a bunch of fried chickenwings
  23. I such a case does not help an automatic tool like the magic wand tool. Also the manual freehand selection with the lasso tool is too unreliable. I therefore recommend to create a new layer and paint the shape of the button as precisely as possible with a striking color like red. Then select the color in this layer, move to the original layer below, and cut the image. The auxiliary layer can then be deleted.
