Where the heck did my color palette window go?

Recommended Posts

I've inadvertently moved (with click and drag) the color palette window completely off the screen and cannot retrieve it. I closed down Paint.net in the hopes that this would restore the palette window to the main screen when I opened the program again, but its still not appearing. Can anyone help this ignorant newbie out? Thanks.

Oma:

I did click -- many times -- on "Window" and then on "Colors" in the drop-down window and I still could not reset the color palette window location. It appears, from what Rick has posted, that my version needs some updating, which will clear up the problem.

Thanks to both of you, Oma and Rick, for your help.

In the Window menu, there is an option at the top that says "Reset Windows Locations". Try that.

And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
