Is there a way to put a copyright symbol on my pictures? I am using them on a web site and do not want them used for anything else. I am editing a photograph removing the date and would like to make a stamp or something thats shows it to be mine.

If you want to make it a watermark, just put it on the top layer and make it semitransparent.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

I had this problem too as the normal keyboard combinations for reproducing the copyright symbol don't work in PDN as they are assigned to other functions.

If you go to Copyright Authority website they have a selection of images that you can copy, free of charge, and use in your images.

Just copy the image from the webpage and paste it into PdN, you can then manipulate it how you would like (resize, recolour, etc...) and save it for future use.

Go to Start > Run... and type in "charmap.exe" (no quotes). There's a Copyright symbol for most fonts; just click it, hit "Copy," and then paste it onto PdN.

BB idea is much better, im just putting it out there

Won't work on PdN. The keyboard shortcuts apply to other things.

But you can copy from the charmap and paste directly into the program. THAT works perfectly. :-)

Oh, and it was me...

That's what I thought, I don't do this often, but don't remember it not working. grammar>

Can't test Paint.NET ATM.

No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio
