Timjones
Is there a way you can easily outline text? When I try and use the effect "outline" it doesn't quite work... Could someone help me, please? Thanks.

david.atwell
Bah! BoltBait, I had that link all ready...you're too fast. BoltBait
Actually, Pyrochild is faster than me! I had written an Outline Object plugin, but he published his first... damn him! david.atwell
Now, be honest, BB....was his better than yours? Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... BoltBait
Well, I've compared the code and all I can say is that they are different. Mine uses less memory, is slightly faster (who cares?) and you can use the primary or secondary color. His is more configurable for the outline itself which can be used to make it look better at larger sizes (>5). david.atwell
Can the two be combined in any way? I'd like to have the ability to use the primary or secondary color...and the speed would be nice when you're outlining very complicated shapes, such as text. BoltBait
Pryochild has my code. But, I don't think he has much interest in rewriting that plugin--he's moved on to bigger and better things. Maybe I'll fix mine... later. Quote Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and a Free Computer Dominos Game
pyrochild
Mine uses less memory, is slightly faster Both have been improved for the next release. When that'll be, I have no idea. Pryochild has my code. But, I don't think he has much interest in rewriting that plugin--he's moved on to bigger and better things. There it is again! "Pryo" As for rewriting it, I have played a bit more with it and will release a new, faster, more efficient, more configurable version, but there's currently no ETA. david.atwell
I'm not a stand-up comedian, but I do like to joke. Well, I heard a comedian named Tim Jones a couple of years ago. He was pretty funny; I just thought there was an off-off chance you might be him. Oh well. Celebrity moment will have to wait until later :-) Glad you like the program anyway!
