usedHONDA
Current status: I just created a page for Tom Jackson's fire tutorial. Images will be uploaded soon. I already added the .pdn file format to wiki (here), but there should be more. For one thing, I need more information on the file format (MIME type, is it patented, compression algorithm, and HDR format just to name a few) so I could add it to this article. I also want to create an article about it. I'm at the second paragraph (kinda), but I'm not sure what to put, since I didn't create it. Another idea: Wkibooks We should have a collection of information for the public to read and learn the techniques, simple coding (maybe), and download plugins. The great thing is that you don't have to access a forum with advertisments and (almost) difficult navigation. Here is an example on what it could look like. It can show more information there than what you can find here because some things aren't worth posting. Here is an example of a title page (but ours will be better). usedHONDA
Cool! We could add that to the Wikibook! usedHONDA
Sorry for the double post, but this needed to be posted. I created the title page! *clicky* Quote "The greatest thing about the Internet is that you can write anything you want and give it a false source." ~Ezra Pound twtr | dA | tmblr | yt | fb
BoltBait
Hope you got permission to use that... And, are you planning on writing more than just the title page? Seems kinda pointless without something behind it. usedHONDA
Does anyone know how to add a hyperlink to an image in Wiki? I want the logo to link to the Contents page. usedHONDA
Yes. My defense: PSD and PSP is there. BoltBait
Well, its not a vector (or 3D) format--his only other choices. Quote Click to play: Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and how about a Computer Dominos Game
usedHONDA
Now I need some help. I want users like BuzzKill and MadJik to re-write (or copy and paste) the sticky'd tuts into the new Wikibook. If you already have a Wikibook account, use it. If you don't, create it. Chances are you don't have one because Wikipedia and Wikibooks are two separate divisions, and there isn't a universal subscription to it. Rick Brewster
usedHONDA, you're completely ripping off the content from the help file without giving any credit. Then, the contents are being relicensed under the GNU Free Documentation License. That's about as lame as things can possibly get man. http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Paint.NET/ ... lend_Modes Quote The Paint.NET Blog: https://blog.getpaint.net/ Donations are always appreciated! https://www.getpaint.net/donate.html
usedHONDA
Oh. Sorry. I'm changing it right now (I'll explain more later). EDIT: Okay! I edited it so I give you credit and I have an unfinished copyright-thingy at the bottom. I'm not good with copyrights and stuff (as you've seen before), so you can fill in the blanks and make new ones It's kinda funny that Wiki doesn't have any copyright template for articles, so I had to make one from scratch. Rick Brewster
It's ok if you add on to or change the text there, you just have to state what it's originally based on. Not being "good with copyrights and stuff" isn't an excuse unfortunately. barkbark00
usedHONDA, All PDN's license stuff is on the D/L page at the bottom. http://www.getpaint.net/download.html Quote  Take responsibility for your own intelligence. -Rick Brewster
usedHONDA
Thanks! I was wondering where that was! Okay, I created a License page for the Wikibook so you don't have to scroll too much and look at stuff that you aren't even going to read. *Link* BTW, I see a good sign. Rick didn't denounce it like almost all of my other ideas! usedHONDA
~Update~ Page Count: 5 pages in the Wikibook Newest page(s): Tom Jackson's Fire tut [now with pictures!] Next page(s): Another tut/Plugin section Quote "The greatest thing about the Internet is that you can write anything you want and give it a false source." ~Ezra Pound twtr | dA | tmblr | yt | fb
usedHONDA
~New Update~ Newest page(s): Tools page [now with pictures!] It took a while, but I finally have all of the required images on the page! I have all of the tools listed in a certain order next to a picture of the tool's button. One thing I'm trying to get done is the "Tool Toolbar", which isn't a toolbar, but if you click on a tool in the toolbar, you'll be teleported to the part of the page that talks about it. Unfortunately, after all of this searching and coding, it doesn't work right. Go and see for yourself. In other news, using the same type of coding, I was able to hyperlink the image on the title page to Paint.NET/Contents instead of the image description page. And II was able to break the font barrier, so now the slogan text is smaller and in a new font. Go and see for yourself. BoltBait
Dude! You don't even have, in your wikibook, a link where people can download Paint.NET. I see it on the landing page, but, if you go to the table of contents, you'll never find it. usedHONDA
Well I do have the getpaint's homepage on the title page. But I guess some download links would be good... cjmcguinness
~UPDATE~ New page Paint.NET Tutorials index The Paint.NET Wikibook now has a Tutorials index page where links to tutorials will be organized and categorized. The page is in it's infancy and will be constantly updated over the coming weeks to populate it.

usedHONDA
I think the "Complex Signature" tutorial should get removed because CMD isn't planning on finishing it.
