Miss Julia
Edit by Rick: You need to use a more descriptive thread title than "Help plz". This is your only warning. Why when I delete objects it turns into white lines? what am i missing here?
MadJik
Delete makes the selection transparent. It's shown as grey/white checker on the background layer. If you use several layers, you'll see by transparency the layers below the active one. It might be also your selection isn't made with a good tolerance on some lined texture and not all the texture is deleted... Miss Julia
I'm not talking about a whole object or background but just a few lines here and there that i want to erase in order to see the colour below. Why such a basic feature doesn't exist?

Save the outcome of this process and upload it to a file server of your choosing. Then post the image in this thread. This way we can see what you are seeing. MadJik
Ok I see your problem. You could use the stamp for that (short key:L) Ctrl+left click in a near area beside the line. Redraw other the line (left click and drag)... This tool use the brush width so you could increase to 8-10 before that.
