Fr3dY
Hi, I've just installed paint.net 4.0 in a Windows system with regional settings as 'Spain / Spanish'. However, although the application is set to English, it still show messages in spanish. Here's a screen capture (app was already restarted, and even in the first execution it was already set to 'English'):
Ego Eram Reputo
Did you restart after changing the language? Fr3dY
Yes, i did. I've restarted the computer and same thing, but I've solved it just by changing language to 'Spanish', restarting and then reverting to 'English' again. Now it works (it seems that, although it displayed 'English' in the options, the config file wasn't saved correctly).
Rick Brewster
I think I know what's causing this and I should have a fix for a 4.0.1 update. For now, you should be able to work around this by setting the language to anything else, restarting paint.net, and then setting it to English and restarting the app one more time.
