pman
The top menu Window>Colors bring out a Colors window. It always default with black color I want to set default to red color. Is it possible? I usually use red color for lines/text that I want to add to the pictures. Thanks Edited March 2, 2014 by pman
Ego Eram Reputo
I don't recall that the default Primary and Secondary colors can be reset. You know you can click on the palette in the Color Window to quickly select a color? You know you can click on the palette in the Color Window to quickly select a color? I understand that I can click on the palette to select a color. I just thought maybe there are some ways to set some defaults, for example I am using it for text annotation so I always use red text/lines. Could the default font size and thickness of lines be changed? Where that I can look at defaults that could be changed?
Ego Eram Reputo
Look to the left side of the Tool Bar, there is a drop-down list of the Tools. The top item in that list is the option the "Choose Defaults". That will open the default settings dialog. http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/Toolbar.html 1 Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker

pman
Thanks EER. BTW what does "vote this post up" (little up arrow at bottom right corner of post) do?
david.atwell
Thanks EER. BTW what does "vote this post up" (little up arrow at bottom right corner of post) do? EER gives a good explanation here. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
