Ego Eram Reputo Posted August 21, 2012 Share Posted August 21, 2012 The extension APNG is used by Paint.NET in order to avoid a conflict with the existing (non animated) PNG format. For external use the APNG files can be safely returned to the PNG extension as BoltBait said. midora Posted August 21, 2012 Share Posted August 21, 2012 I'm pretty sure that OptiPNG is not able to optimze APNG. (And it will not because it would destroy the sequence structure of an APNG).
