SHMCMINN Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 Ok, I read the FAQ, and still can't find anything on this. Whenever I use the paintbrush tool, it is not a solid color, it's like a dirty color. Like if I try to paint something blue, it comes out with like gray/black/blue paint. I have the setting on solid brush. Is this normal behavior? Quote
Picc84 Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 Are you picking out a "dirty" color? Is your screen clean? What version of paint.net are you running? Quote
Hellfire010 Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 Maybe the colors transparency is lowered? The screen's color is messed up? Not sure... Perhaps post a couple screenshots. Quote
BoltBait Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 Float your mouse over the various buttons on the button bar at the top of the screen. Find the one labeled "Antialiasing" and the one labeled "Alpha Blending". Experiment with those. Quote Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and a Free Computer Dominos Game
Rick Brewster Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 What BoltBait said. You probably just accidentally turned off antialiasing and/or alpha blending. This is exactly what I'm hoping to solve with 3.0, as detailed here: http://blogs.msdn.com/rickbrew/archive/ ... -tool.aspx . SHMCMINN Posted October 4, 2006 Author Posted October 4, 2006 I turned on alpha blending and it worked. Thanks! Quote
