JimBo
Hi please forgive me if this has been covered before but I am new to this forum and Paint Net and wondered if I could have some advice if it is at all possible to remove the concrete post, which is down the middle of the photograph and is it easy to do so a novice like myself could do it. warfighter67
There is no way at all to remove that post in the picture, and seeing the missing parts of the car behind it, unless you are a really good pixel artist and spend 3 days doing it. Sarkut
JimBo, One way to fake it is as follows. Find similar looking areas in the picture. Copy and paste selections into new layer, position, merge. To make things match up, the pasted/selected bits can be rotated, stretched, compressed using the selection adjustment nodes and the Move Selected Pixels tool. When positioned right, deselect and apply feather object. Some minor brightness adjustment with Brightness / Contrast can give a smoother blend. http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/6614/carpasted01.png You'll probably need to spend some time working with it to build your skill, but it's worth knowing how to do this. Ego Eram Reputo
If you want to try something that is more automated, try this plugin: Fill Gaps v1.0. You'll have to delete the concrete post first (see linked post where the plugin fills in the space where models' mouth is erased). Do make a backup copy before you start! Sarkut
Somone should create a Move-the-Post-to-the-Right plugin. http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/8612/carpasted03.png
JimBo
Somone should create a Move-the-Post-to-the-Right plugin. http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/8612/carpasted03.png If you could tell me how you did that or even better move the post completely to the right of the car? Also thanks to all the replys, like I said I am new to Paint Net and this forum and all the help as been most appreciated.
Sarkut
I just did what I described in my previous post. Added the post back in as a joke.
Sarkut
I'm not sure whether you know what I was talking about previously. Keyboard shortcuts - Ctrl + C ................. Copy Ctrl + Shift + V ......
