Curmudgeon
if that's not it, make sure you've got the primary color set to something you can see...I.E. not black text on black background
oma
also make sure you are not typing text on a layer under a fully opacity layer. text should generally be last thing to be done on the very top layer. LivingDaylight
Make sure something isnt selected, press Ctrl-D to deselect. Holy bananas it worked! When i read it I was like "that is way too simple" but i was wrong! I have another question. After I type something then select something else, how do i move what I typed? Onemorelevel
You need to put it on a new layer, then select it and move it. Quote "Being calm can work wonders" ~My gallery~D: Iceberg Tutorial!
LivingDaylight
You need to put it on a new layer, then select it and move it. I see, is there a way that I can select it such that I can edit it as well? The way I am doing it is exactly how I would select part of an image I wished to move. There's no way to re-edit text once it's been "finalized" to the canvas.
flip
While you're typing you should see a block or arrows. Click+hold and move your mouse. Quote Gallery
Ego Eram Reputo
There's no way to re-edit text once it's been "finalized" to the canvas. Nope, once you commit the text to the layer it is just more image data. However, have you seen this ?
