I once had Ctrl + D (for deselect) suddenly stop working for nearly a year. Then, after a Windows update, it suddenly began to work again. I suspect you have a bad key. I tried. I even mapped Alt+Pg a a completely different combination logically with autohotkey. It still doesn't work. It's most likely a bug.
