How can edit previos works or history work in paint.net

Recommended Posts

Hello @Rakesh and welcome to the forum :)

Once you 'flatten' an image, you cannot edit the text.  You must save your work in .pdn format, with the text on its own layer - then you can edit.

You can't actually edit the letters of the text once it has been entered.

There is a long-standing feature request to provide this capability in the future.

However, as @Pixey says, if you enter your text on a separate layer then it's easy to delete old text and re-enter any that you wish to change. But you can't actually 'edit' existing text.

^ Agreed!  Ctrl + Shift + N = create new layer.

This has to be one of my most used shortcuts. After a while it becomes a habit to create a new layer for every new element you're adding to the image.
