My hard drive recently was damaged and I'm trying to reinstall Paint.net but I get the below error message. I've deleted all paint.net files I can find on my computer but I still get it. If anyone else has had this problem and can help, I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Please try this tool and then try to re-install.

Afterwards, you should be able to install paint.net anew.

The offline installer gets updates, just like the "online" installer. They install the same thing, they just pull the "bits" from different locations.

The portable package does not get updates. You're currently responsible for managing it in that case.
