Plagoonaba
So, I am trying to add a PNG image to another image but the problem is, when I add it, it adds the background of the PNG as well and I cannot guess where to save it. Can anyone help me? Is there anyway to remove the background? Thanks
ardneh
There are a number of ways to remove backgrounds. The best way will depend on the specific image that you are working with. If you can post the image we will be better able to give good advice.

toe_head2001
Your image already has a transparent background. Quote (September 25th, 2023) Sorry about any broken images in my posts. ardneh
So, just paste it into a new layer above the image that you want to add it to.

toe_head2001
What do you want in the background? First you said that you wanted to remove it, and then you said it can't be transparent. So what else could you possibly have in the background? 1 Quote (September 25th, 2023) Sorry about any broken images in my posts. I am aware of the issue. AndrewDavid
@Plagoonaba If you are referring to the checkered pattern, it cannot be removed. It is only a indicator that the image is transparent. If you don't want to see the transparency reduce the size of the canvas to the size of your object.
ardneh
If you paste directly onto your image, the transparency will also paste. Paste into a new layer above your image.
BoltBait
What everyone is trying to say is this: When pasting your transparent image into your existing image, use Ctrl-Shift-V instead of simply Ctrl-V Quote Download: BoltBait's Plugin Pack | CodeLab | and a Free Computer Dominos Game
