  1. This tutorial is available as a PDF. Click here to view or download it Plugin Pack used: Pyrochild's. Not sure which I used are plugins, sorry. Here is the goal: Plugins required: Color Distort Gravity Shape3D Smooth Outline Object 1) Open up a blank canvas at 800x600. 2) Click on effects>distort>color distort. Run at these specifications: 3) Run gravity at these settings: 4) Run shape 3D. Don't change anything besides the shape. Set it to a sphere at the half sphere repeat setting. Effects > blur > smooth 5) Now, duplicate the layer and set it to negation. 6) Merge the layer down. 7) Duplicate the layer and set it to multiply. 8)Twist the sphere layer at these settings: 9) Now adjustments > black and white. 10) Duplicate the layer. 11) Use color balance, color balance plus, or even curves, to make the sphere a nice cyan color. Top layer should be a lighter color, the bottom layer a darker color. 12) Set the top layer's blend mode to additive. Merge layer down. 13) Duplicate the layer. 14) On the lower layer, run effects > blur > gaussian blur at 60. 15) On the upper layer, effects > photo > glow at these settings: 16) Duplicate the layer and set the top one to multiply. Merge it down. 17) Now, on a NEW LAYER, use the text tool and write your name in a color similar to the color you set the circle to. Put it in the darker part of the circle. The font I used is Segoe UI Light. 18) Use the rectangle select tool, and drag around it & then use the "Move selected pixels" tool. Right click the box to rotate the text. 19) Effects > Object > Outline Object (the one that has the logo that doesn't look like a Chinese letter) at the following settings (but the color that you used for your text): 20) Now, set a black background and save. Your done!
  2. No tut for it that I know of. I guess I'll make one. Should be fun.
  3. my respect for you went up until I saw eminem... Try paramore? Seriously, great work! I love the "Ryu" piece.
  4. Real band, but the band actually sucks. And we haven't met for practice in a few months. So more of a mock up, really.
  5. Thanks. I like it far more than the first. I set it to my background.
  6. You like it? Very nice image @Xhin. It keeps my attention, with so much going on.
  7. @TheHowler, great work. Looks like you've put a lot of time into that. @Sfifer, great color set. The whole effect is calming, and I love the smoky type effect that you did around her head. The glowing necklace and headphones make it pop, and the font matches the feeling. Sfifer: 1 TheHowler: 0
  8. Another one. this time I did the same thing, except not as much blur and I made it black and white to edit the color. The layer negation just brings out the highlights and shadows and makes it look more 3D.
  9. Fruity blue sphere, made by messing around with "gravity" and color distort, and a few other effects I rarely use. I like it. I may make a better quality one sometime. I only fractal blurred it to get rid of some randomly colored pixels. I also duplicated, layer negate, then duplicated, layer multiply. I really like it.
  10. Nice. Works nice, especially when your using them for something. I do some graphics for my church. You can't get that text effect with PDN, sadly. I was wondering because I'm getting Cinema 4D sometime soon.
  11. Is the animation program Cinema 4D?
  12. A couple of layouts for shirts for a bible study group (eighth grade guys only). I'm working on a background to have for the projector, too. Edit: Original photo:
  13. I agree. I used sepia tone on the back, black and white on the right side, then duplicated the original image that was under those and put it on top set to overlay... or was it multiply? I'm not sure. But I like it.
  14. Very original tutorial! I may use it to get to that look at the 10th step. I dunno. If I ever use it, I'll put it up!
  15. The simplicity in the Road Blade singnature is nice, but I prefer the comatose signature. The fade outs and the squiggly line match well together, and the color scheme is great. Did you make the background yourself? NinjaManDan21: 1 TFPrime: 0
  16. Could you post the original photo?
  17. Some car edits: Edit: Oops. This goes in image manipulation.
  18. Great work. I liked your sig, so I had decided to look for your gallery. Your far better than I'll ever be... Will you teach me? Pwease? Seriously, these are great.
  19. Heres one of my attempts. Don't fancy background images, so I didn't use one. Didn't follow the tutorial exact, as you can see. I may go back through and bevel all the squares sometime.

Great job! I especially like the green one with the guns under "Tutorials". Link to the tutorial?
  21. I like it more simple. In my art class at school though, I cannot use a simple design or I fail. It sucks.
