You could use [Effects-->Render-->Shape3D] and make a cube shape. Not sure how it would look, but the only thing I can think of. Also, it's a plugin you need to download. It's in the plugins section if you're looking for it

Okay, start by creating a new layer above your image. Then, use the Text tool, and write any text in any font you want, and color doesn't matter either. It doesn't matter if it's anti-aliased or not. Then, use the magic wand tool, and put tolerance on 0%, on the Text layer and select the backround (don't select the text). Then press [Ctrl]+I to invert the selection. Now make a new layer, and use the Effects-->Selection-->Bevel Selection (it's a plugin, if you don't have it then download it in the plugins section). Mess with the settings until you get the embed you want. Then go to your text layer, and delete it. You now have embedded text in your image. Hope that helps Edit: You should get text that looks something like in my Easter picture.

I'm trying to upload a new profile picture (not avatar, or sig) and it keeps telling me "The file you uploaded is too large." Here are the specs of the picture: File Type: 8-bit PNG File Size: 6.92KB Pic Size: 95x95 It's clearly under the limits of what the forum says.. "No bigger than 150x150". Also, it didn't say a max file size, but I believe it used to be 19.5KB

New sig: I must say that I am quite proud with the release of this nice, clean sig.

Thanks! I know I got a lot of criticism for it being aliased, but imo that's part of the image. I'm kind of a pixel art fan, or whatever, and I felt that keeping it aliased would give it that antique feel to it. Although I do reckon I could have done better models for the tower bases and turrets.

Make a "Set as backround" option under "File" like MS Paint, with the sub-options of Tiled, Centered, and Stretched. I hate having to open MS paint to do this, lol.

Well for her it is, but once I get home and find time to create the scapescape I have in mind, it will be the darkest, moodiest, most desolate looking image most people probably have seen in PDN. Well I was just suggesting an organization.. it looks kinda odd like so atm with one not being a subforum.

Make another subforum and name it something like "Competitions in Progress" and move all competitions there. Another subforum for finished competitions could also be made but I think that's what the Hall of Fame is for. Just a suggestion! -Weylin.

csm, I like your entry, but I may add some constructive criticism, only to help you for next time: The shadows look off, and don't match correctly with the chess pieces. The tiling is excellent, but the little slither of tiling on the bottom that's not a full square doesn't fit with a chess board. Otherwise, a great entry, and better than anything I could enter!

Thanks! The door was supposed to be like going out to board a spaceship.. there was supposed to be text above the door but I spent so long looking for a texture for the door I forgot and sent it in for the competition Edit: O_O bloody potato! I forgot to make reflection for the door!

Hey I did a search on this forum, help files, and even google, but couldn't find a decent explanation of what a C4D was or what it stands for. Anyone want to tell me what a C4D is? I've seen it all over the forums
