meh bad day i guess, but it doesn't matter if he uses the same style. Most of the sig artists on this forum use the same old style as well. That stems from the fact that everyone uses c4ds and renders and there isn't much room for innovation on that front. Also i think darkshock is using fractals instead of c4ds now but i am not sure.

your one to talk yy10 your sigs follow the same old style as well slap a render, a few c4ds turn it black and white. Who cares if he is using the same style, its his style and i applaud him for that.

very nice sokagirl i like the bloody look of it . Although one thing you could do is lower the opacity of your color that you used to make the red squares in the checkerboard.

sorry for not checking in on this for a while one more level. The alpha value for the color portion is about 70-90. It turns out great around those colors.

@ sokagirl thank you very much i am glad you like it @ possum if you have any trouble just holler at me i am getting fairly good at apophysis. @ monky face person the glowing clouds on the planet was made by putting using render clouds on a layer above the planet and changing the layer blend mode to either additive or reflect if my memory serves me correctly. Try compressing the folder. Select the artwork you want to sent in a file. You can hold ctrl while clicking to select multiple files. When you are done selecting them right click on one of the selected file go to send to> compressed (zipped) folder. You should be able to upload it to gmail then. You can do this if you have windows vista or windows 7.

They do too! They are just a little ....empty They need to be filled with the experiences you can only get from using PDN daily for a few months. Well if we weren't nice people would quit coming to this forum. Nice simple tutorial by the way. Learning simple things are great foundations for learning and becoming a better artist. Keep up the good work flip. Also there are some nice outcomes in this thread by the way. Plus we must feed the noobs so they will grow out of the noob stage into the artist stage.

its called xor selection. it makes the program faster.

here are two new works that i have made both are 100% pdn. first one is an abstract that i call balloons the second one is a planet i made that i put to a simple background.

all photoshop brush packs should work with abr viewer. It is a possibility that your brush files may be corrupted or are missing some information. Try downloading abr viewer again and see if that fixes it.

sexy new planet sozo. Great texture and everything, i would like to see that thing in a spacescape or terrascape. Oh yeah terrascape is something using terragen and putting space objects in the sky
