  1. @ Nemo : the water at this particular loch very rarely has any movement and looks more like a sheet of glass than water, as for giving Welsh competition you will know from the other forum we feed of each others idea's
  2. @ Possium Roadkill : like the landscape for sure, strange how you created a bamboo work and then produced a landscape with a very oriental feel to it... wonderful, love it @ Onemorelevel : Great work making full use of PDN Here's a Scottish Landscape
  3. This one is called 'Glass Frames' for obvious reasons
  4. ok just to change things around a bit here's a seascape i done
  5. Really like the Fire one, the background gives the flames a nice 3D effect...
  6. Love the concept and originality behind this , cant help but wonder how it would look if the humming birds were made from soapy bubbles adding a hint of colour (of course that might flatten and kill the over all effect) great work Possum...
  7. Possium Roadkill : love the guitar and 5 string banjo (hardest to play but best sounding)... do you play ? jannettesue : wonderful pic Topezia : love the colours used , very vibrante.....shine on Sharp : good job on the spacescape Heres my interpritation of Storm Thorgenson's Pink Floyd P.U.L.S.E
  8. This is my interpritation of Storm Thorgerson Pink Floyd P.U.L.S.E DvD cover ...
  9. Hi Sokagirl , i like the new additions the black shapes on the red background make me think of Bats flying around...love it ..
  10. Thanks Sokagirl, ive put the updated version here now
  11. Nice first images ... but just so you know the Pictorium Guidlines state images should be less than 800 x 600, i normally put them up at 640 x 480 that way the image is still clear but loads quick enough as well
  12. yellowman : the work you produce amazes me at times , maybe rather than thinking off the tread as being on top of the tyre and thinking off it as being cut into the tyre (engraved) might solve the problem (no white on the central treads only black defining them) :?:
  13. I can see where 'Snake Ball' comes from the centre reminds me of Rattle Snake skin, not that I've seen many and the ones i have seen are in the reptile section of the zoo... which suits me just fine your coming up with some nice textures and effects...
  14. Looking at the Topic heading and reading the request i think you might mean a link to the Tutorial section :?: viewforum.php?f=29
  15. Oma the peony falls into the awesome class, the colours, lighting and background all working in perfect harmony .
  16. Frontcannon : your remarks are far from offensive strange, illogical, difficult to describe, confusion...just the way some abstracts should be and the effect they should have. Like the Blitzball person_321 : That would look great framed and on a wall Welsh : strange enough i had friends staying who just happened to be West Ham fans like the piece and makes me think pendant
  17. 1st : Great to see you bursting through the self doubts 2nd : The Oriental lantern and Blue Tiles jumped off the page at me  wonderful 3rd : The 'droste' effect , especially the 2nd one has left me with 'Time Tunnells' sceaming in my head and your own fav. is great too This was the ad banner when i logged in, im thinking ...... Confucius he say "Sokagirl making wonderful Oriental Lantern"
  18. DarkShock : Like the effect achieved , the colouring sets it off and gives it depth This is an abstract i put together trying to achieve a glass effect
  19. Gamer_World14: Thanks , one day it will be a complete figure or i might just do a top view so all you see is the helmet and his feet sticking out
  20. Mental blocks tend to stem from 'Trying to hard'....try adopting my approach 'Shape the colour' rather than 'Colour the shape’.... Open a new canvas and kick around colours, effects, distortions and see if an idea forms from there, I have to admit my approach is a bit unorthodox but it works for me....
