Seriously, you have really done a very good job on learning the techniques in the tuts. And most importantly you have chosen very good ones and created new images in your own style. I know I'll be watching your gallery for new images. You might get involved in some of the comps. You can find them HERE. It's a great way to put your skills to the test and create something from a variety of themes.

I really like the first one. Very unique. The expression on the face is very grim. It looks angry.

I would love to see it. I really like the Teddy Bear under the parasol. The look on it's face is so sweet. Lovely gallery !

I really like this. It makes me wish it were larger though. It looks like the original size might have had so much more detail. I know it's for a sig, so you had to downsize it, but I would like to see you do something similar in a larger work so the detail could shine through. This would have been great for the current AOTW 3D Typography.

Love the new images ! I really like the building, my fav ! The ship is very very cool. The "Sato" (?) image is surreal ! I almost choked on my drink when I saw the clock. Shouldn't it be set to 4:20? :lol:

I don't know that I agree with that. I think it adds some anticipation to the image, like you are getting ready to see something really bright as you move around the planet. Really nice Sozo ! Looking forward to seeing the finished image. Maybe someday you'll enter one in the SAC? Eh? Maybe?

None of them do. That's why it says on the 1st post that you can view the full size images below. I didn't want to take the time to save the images and then post them to my photobucket like I do in the other comps. Hey, it's Friday night and I have things to do ! This will be the last comp that the entrants post their own images. We will be going to blind entry for all comps after this week.

I just got a message from Chrisco and he is sick, so if you want to make him a Get Well card, I'm sure he would appreciate it. He did feel well enough to finish the awards for the SAC ! Yea ! They are awesome !

Wow, another amazing wood texture Welshblue ! You never cease to amaze me with the wood textures you create. @ Olav, your's came out beautifully ! Speaking of wood. This is some of the wood texture technique I've picked up from Welshblue in the past year and a half. Also, when I had trouble with getting the strings to look realistic, he had an answer for that as well.
