  1. Hello there. It sounds like you may benefit from the plugin called Conditional Hue/Saturation, which will be found in the Adjustment menu once you restart PDN. After that, try to use either the line tool to line the t-shirt, or magic wand with low tolerance (you may need to adjust the tolerance as needed), and then run Conditional Hue/Saturation. Good luck.
  2. Are you referring to Mirror Over Line plugin by Evans?
  3. In a word, nope. That's something I once asked about near a year ago, and I was told that Rick may be looking into that. I know the GIMP uses Script-Fu to refresh its plugin list, but even PS has to be closed in order for the new effect or whatnots to be found. I'm sorry that PDN is causing you such hassles. :?
  4. Was this a necessary question? I think it does exactly as the name suggest, managing fonts, and it used to be, whenever we downloaded a new font, we had to shut down the program, and rerun the program so it could recognize the newly installed font. Now, it is not needed as the program will recognize the new font.
  5. Ash has made a tapered line tutorial. You could check it out, and try it with sine wave. I do not know if it may be of help, but give it a shot. Edit: Added link.
  6. It may be that you have installed a bad font. I believe Rick has said it may be fixed in an upcoming release. When that will be is entirely up to Rick. Be patient or try a font of similar style and see if that work. Son of Spam, IIRC, there is no v.3.5.6. We have currently v. 3.5.1.
  7. My pleasure, Mcpaulo. Never be afraid to use search and ask questions.
  8. Genius, you are incorrect. Mcpaulo, a forum member, pyrochild, developed a plugin called Smudge. You can download it as a part of his pack in the Plugin Section. Look for it as a sticky'd thread. Edit: Gave link to his pack.
  9. dpy, any way you can add anti-aliasing option? That would make all the edge smooth when running the plugin.
  10. I'm assuming you have experience with PDN. Perhaps this excellent tutortial of david.atwell will help you.
  11. The "marching ants" has been phased out since the first alpha release of v3.5. It uses Xor blending to reduce the burden on the CPU. If you are seeing white lines, I'm assuming it's the result after you deselect a selection, I suggest you use feather which will "expand" your object to fill in the gap after the selection process is complete.
  12. Simon Brown has an excellent plugin called Printer+. Look for it in the stickied plugin under his pack.
  13. You could use a plugin, I believe it is either called PowerStretch or just Stretch. Search for it in the Plugin Section. BoltBait once commented it made his wife happy when he was able to manipulate a picture of one of his children not smiling into a smiling one.
  14. You have got to be kidding me. Rick wrote that as a part of installation so that if the computer ever crashes after the install was successful, we would have a chance to rollback to the last known good configuration. Microsoft uses System Restore daily, I have that running all the time in my system, and if you got a gripe with system restore, take it to Microsoft. I'm happy with how PDN have enhance my experience in graphic design, thank you very much. Get a grip.
  15. I would like to also supplement BoltBait's friendly help by pointing you to an excellent tutorial written by another moderator, david.atwell, and he does a good job of explaining how to resize for printing.
  16. 1st image on the left, inspired by Helen's glass cube tutorial. 2nd image, my own glass boxes. 3rd image, on the right, glassy ribbon orb. Enjoy.
  17. Removed image due to broken links. Created this last year around this time of the year. I simply used line tool, sine waves, and Shape 3D to twist the line. Duplicated the layer, rotated/zoom it, and duplicated the layer again. It was basically repeat the duplication, rotating the layer. That's why I said it was too simple of a tutorial. Anybody with a decent brains can figure out what to do. Sorry for sounding harsh. Edited for removal of image so I would not trash this thread and upsetting flip's internal balance with a broken image link.
  18. For one thing, the goggle isn't in the same direction as Jesus' face is, and as DarkShock so eloquently put it, awkward. When I think of a call, I would imagine His hands outstretched with lights emainting from His hands, like an invitation, and demons from hell snarling, snapping their jaws at it, and a sense of warfare. Just a thought.
  19. Oh sweet, Quick Reply! I love it. On-topic, Sozo, I love your new planet. In fact, if you use Terragen, you could create a planet using the texture from Terragen. I know your brilliant mind can figure it out. But, using rock texture works also. I don't see anything wrong with using rock texture to help create ultra-realistic planet like you did. Which, by the way, looks like either Mars or one of Jupiter's moon. Superb job! BTW, what happened to your 3D watery fabric tutorial? It seem you have changed it to an abstractal look, or did I look in the wrong forum? :?
  20. I got to agree with Oma's suggestion about the move under Distort, even though I got a long list of distort. Evan, I must congratulate you for making 3D object much faster. In fact, with only a measly 512 MB of RAM I have on my machine, running that plugin is a snap. No long wait for the image to finish rendering. I can manipulate the position of the object, zoom, and change setting from Box, Torus, or Graph and the simulation is much fast than the previous version. The reshape plugins are excellent! No problem to report. First thing I did when I open PDN was to check with Plugin Load Error under Utilities, and your plugin is not blocked at all. Thank you for your update!
  21. Start with :AllColorChannels: and then work with a bit of :AlphaChannel: there. I am not giving away all the tips. If you truly want to make one, got to try to make one yourself. That's how I got started. Trust me, even Ash himself didn't give me every tip, he just nudged a bit, and a bit, and a bit until I got the hang of it. Thanks.
  22. Looks like a Final Fantasy character, unless I'm mistaken, and anyway, nice job with the color toning, although there's a bit too much green-blue color tone. Adding several sparkles and a dreamy touch would tie it all together, maybe?
  23. Helen, thanks always for your kind comment. DarkShock, thanks! theonlychad, actually, it's not the first time I have attempted to make glass blocks. I have made many, many attempts that I have posted before, but pulled them after I finally got going with other images.
