I tried this with text (which took a bit longer) and it didnt come out too well. The text was barely visible so I had to outline it (as lightly as possible) heres what I came up with:

So I' am watching t.v. and the matrix comes on, so I spend 2 hours workin on a matrix sig (animating it) and it comes out lookin like bloody potato lol. Anyways check it:

You should save them as .png images and make the width no greater than 500. Other than that, pretty good man.

Thanks for the advice. Just finished another, what do you guys think? (I was thinking of the sun falling into the ocean...haha, yeah weird but it came out interesting)

Maybe put more behind the lines on the right side. Possibly a border? Some sigs look amazing simple, however you should consider making it complex. And yes I believe all the sigs on this page are made with PDN.

Idk, maybe its cuz I' am a novice but the sig looks cool.

Add a white, filled rectangle on another layer at the top. Apply a gaussion blur or set the layer blend mode to Overlay. You can change the color to come out with cool stuff. You can even set the lighting of a sig by doing this. Although you should probably look at the Tips N Tricks For PDN thread for more stuff.

Something I just figured out about a week ago and I've been using it constantly. Use the delete key on your keyboard. It erases a selection. Life is so much easier since I found out about it haha.

I use PDN to make sigs more than anything else so I was thinking it would be much easier if I could set the image size for PDN to open in. So far I have a blank image saved in pdn so it opens in the size I want it too but it would show a great improvement if the image size could be set beforehand. If your not sure what I' am talking about I simply mean when you open PDN it will open in a pre-set size. Comments, opinions, etc?

When animating something parts of the sig come out edgy when saved as a .gif image. So to fix this you would 'cut' the picture. Such as have the animated part cut out by separating the picture in different sections. If you have an animation in the middle of a sig you would delete everything but the first part before the animation then save it as a seperate image. Do the same to the animation as well as the second part. Then when your finished put the images side by side to make up the entire image (not in PDN but on the site where you want it to show). TIP: Cut the image before you animate it, otherwise PDN will freeze your animation.

Too many images for my taste. Thats not necessarily against the rules but you need to make them no more than 800 pixels wide.

Yeah I think I'll change it, doesnt suit me very well. Very nice sig. Its simple, but the best kind as it shows skill. In LFC4EVER's sig the name is reflected below it, I' ve seen this in many sigs/avys but how is it done? Is it just the water reflection effect or something else? (curious as my water reflection comes out too distorted topic>

My newest sig, any ideas on how to make it better? Opinions?

If you're having trouble installing/updating, please create a thread in the Troubleshooting section. I' am not sure if this will be under troubleshooting but when I updated paint.net it created 2 shortcut icons on my desktop. I tried to delete it but this is the error I receive: Error deleting file or folder Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk. Minimal annoyance but I figured it was a glitch in my system or the update.
