I really love your work Did that talent come naturally? Or did you practice a whole lot (before you got to the forums? As I remember the first piece you showed was actually quite good)? Yeah, the star is gone now. I thought summin weird was happening there... anyway, I recolor by basically selecting (using the line/curve tool on a separate layer around the object and filling in the outlines, then using magic wand) and using color tint/color filter. If I have a good quality picture, I could use color filter quite well. But most of the time I have to use color tint because the photo quality is a bit bad (example: http://www.shillpages.com/dw/story/d2/st--2f01.jpg I get some of my screenshots from here, but sometimes I take them myself). Sometimes I get confused between a yellow-ey and orange-ey tint :? It takes quite a few layers to do Edit: Which is better to use? Color tint or Color Filter?

@Salu---Nicey carrot However, the top looks kinda inconclusive. From my viewpoint, it looks like a bullet spewing vines/plants . Maybe make the carrot itself thinner or longer. Still a nice carrot. Thank you! I think that might be by far the best abstract (well, best anything, I guess) that I've ever made. And to think that I started with a Fractal Mandelbrot and a Radial Blur. I didn't even think it would end up that good I made an ornament using Kaleidescope and a few more distorts, but I'll keep that until Christmas @Salu, I rlly like ur siggy

I wish our moon could look like that outside our window but that would be pretty bad/weird, wouldn't it? :wink: Anyway I'm still kinda mind blocked about what I should make. Managed to do a quckie: The original made it look like the sun as seen from underwater. But posting that looks pretty dull.
