  1. @Dr. D---I like how you used Mandelbrot Fractal to make the city lights. I also like the atmospheric effect you have there @T_LH--Nice desktop background recreation @CS--Cool "vexel" image XD Haven't posted art in a while. Here's two wallpapers also in my gallery ^^^Clicky^^^ Open to all comments
  2. Heheh... I'm back! Miss me? With all my homework, etc. I haven't had much time to make stuff (even though I surf the forums constantly) Small update, but they're quite good in my opinion. Both wallpapers were made using the Julia Fractal and PI Leave a comment if you want. I have 500+ hits and not many comments :?
  3. oh noes Expiration has gone hyper on coffee The only problem I think would be the saucer and its shadow. It kinda makes it more like a weird pedestal. Other than that, great coffee work! (Even though I've never had coffee and never will)
  4. I love Madjik's Rosaces Plugin It's the primary plugin I used in this piece
  5. New Photo manipulation update! It's something I haven't done before. I'm not too fond of using outside sources besides things included in PdN in my artwork. However, I just felt like doing this one. I opened the Rift in my backyard :o

    Ash

It'd be a bit long to write a tut for something that complex. I think. *Sees bot* *Hides from bot* I still think bot is cool though
  7. Si, there's a PI+ in there It's a blurred-then-distorted mandelbrot fractal with a PI+ down
  8. I like the glassy text you've got going there. It's something I might try when I have (a lot of) extra time Don't forget to watch you're anti-aliasing when you make your letters  Still an avid fan of your work
  9. @Salu--I like the color scheme of the red fire fan you've got there I actually like how this piece came out. I wasn't expecting it too. It's called "Go!" <---My New (Second) Favorite "Spotlight" "Fly Blue" So, what do you think?
  10. @Nab 007--Thanks I like how you're gallery is coming along btw @Hlnl--Yay my work was called awesome The trail is just a zoom blurred yellow patch color burned over a twist layer ------ New update! The first in two somewhat weeks. My work with Mandelbrot Fractal increases with three new wallpapers. Enjoy and leave feedback
  11. Bump, because apparently I cannot see my gallery anywhere...
  12. @Xpired--don't worry, I''l put the page back @marc--thanks Clouds are easy to come by (using the tut Wither wrote up on airbrush technique), but I try to expand beyond "literal simplicity" (as in going for something that looks good and didn't take 3 minutes to make). Actually, I'm not too happy with the moon, because I think I got the perspective wrong. I think that if I could see stars above, shouldn't the moon be up there as well? :? Ah well.. I'm surprised I have over 300 view in my gallery :o Thanks I'm the only one updating quite frequently, huh? 8) Don't worry, my two week vacation is now over, so I'll be slowing down. Presenting: I have a new sig/av combo. I've posted the unused "version 2.5", which I scrapped for my current
  13. @Topezia--Thanx for the feedback The white in the center was part of a bit more in the piece which I cut out, but now I posted the whole piece which I now think (imo) looks better. @mman6460--honestly, I just took a page outta -Expiration-'s book. I figured how -expiration- would start off and put my own spin to it Most of the stuff on them (ranks, tie, coat) was handmade. I'm not too happy with the hats, but I knew I wouldn't be that good going through all the time making the hair. I will tell you this though: the head and body are Shape 3D Renders (with the body being a half sphere map) with the shadows at different settings
  14. @Salu--I really like that effect "Underwater Space" *clicky*^^^
  15. careful Marc...I've got a copyright on naming My piece "space collapse". Better change those titles It's ok, just keep two tips in mind 1)Xor is ok in some instances, but try to stay away from it 2) Twist has negative coordinatestoo
  16. No need to rate it Milky... Anyway, I have a (completely new) spin-off to my "Space Collapse" abstract. Although it has absolutely nothing to do with space anymore... *clicky*^^
  17. Hope that helped Marc It's a tough piece to remake 8) I tried to make a spin-off piece, but it worked out to be something besides "the end of the universe". It's more like "here's what it looks like under the ocean". Well...one update, with my newest abstract: "Underwater Peace".
  18. Well, I meant for it to be dark. After all, the universe is collapsing Well, let's just say that the piece is the most complex I've made. It was made entirely by accident Of course, I don't remember every single step, but one tip would be that I started with a Mandelbrot Fractal, Radial Blurred it at default, Zoom Blur Deluxed at maximum and high setting, then placed a black layer underneath it. I then twisted/duplicated the zoomed fractal layer every which way using various blending modes. 8) ----- Gallery updated with one colorization
  19. lolz smoking squirrel. Too bad it doesnt have thumbs XD Working on my colorization skills. This time I used an overlay+transparency method, but I just can't seem to get colors I want. This is the first colorization I've done in months, though. Original: http://www.shillpages.com/dw/story/d2/st--2v62.jpg
  20. Thnks As to the silhouette, that was just a lucky combo It was actually quite a simple, but interesting, job. I used two motion blurred fractal mandelbrots in two different directions then used Radial Blur Deluxe at maximum amount and low frequency steps (it's actually quite interesting what you can get with low frequency steps). @K.Digennaro--Interesting textures. Reminds me of brushed metal, only coarser. I think I should get around to using the custom brushes plugin.
  21. New Clouds Update. Does anyone have any tips on improving the atmospheric effect? Or did I hit it on the nose? Open to all comments
  22. Nice! One question. How'd you do the crumpled paper effect? I've been tryin for awhile and I just can't get it... :? (Btw, I know it's not a big deal, but Team Mobile=just T-Mobile)
  23. @Topezia---Nice Work! You used the gravity plugin, right? I've used that a few times, but I could never get my textures to look right. Your texture is actually quite good, because it gives it depth (And makes it look like you've got foliage in it). I finally made a good piece using nothing more than basic tools and no effects. Used the tut for the airbrush technique. I now present: Realistic Clouds 8) Look closely! You might see a whale. (...or a car. Depending on your viewpoint. lol cloud car XD) Open to all comments
  24. @topezia---Nice colors Although I can't figure out how u did it. Is it Xor? @Milkybarkid--I like the spacescape. Especially the effects on the planet. I havea realistic/abstract piece. I didn't know where I should put it, but I like abstracts bettr so: Here's an older piece which was kinda cool:
