  1. Well, I had trouble posting yesterday, so instead I sent a message to Helio with my media player. It's his choice wether he accepts it or not.
  2. I'm going to harass you until you NEVER EVER post a jaggedy edge. :AntiAliasingOff:  :Delete: [Edit] It's more of a weird blurry thingimabob.
  3. I had PS CS2 on my old Mac, and trust me, Paint.NET (nor any other image editing program to date) will be able to compare to Photoshop. Paint.NET doesn't have as many features, MS Paint belongs in a stone on Mount Zion*, GIMP's interface is a GNU licensed Medusa**, Paint Shop Pro is too whimsical (lots of effects that only scrapbookers would use), Picasa only looks really cool, and IrfanView isn't even meant to edit images. *Biblical reference **Ancient Greek reference I think you meant Paint.NET will not be able to compare to Photoshop.
  4. The steely thing? It's easy as heck. If I understand, that's what you like. Or is it what you don't? I posted my entry in a hurry because of the deadline, but now, it's been extended after I posted. I would have worked it out more if the deadline was longer from the start.
  5. Down with IzArc! Up with right-click and save!
  6. The design on your sig, wallpaper and avatar are great, except for the slight edges inside of it. Took a break from the MSC.
  7. "Also, Blur amount -> Blur Amount unBlured Radius -> Unblurred Radius Blured Radius -> Blurred Radius" Was gonna say that! Thanks for this explanation, I already love this plugin.
  8. I don't exactly understand what this does, but I'll check it out I suppose.
  9. Yeah, I was wondering if useful Scriptlabs could be posted into a topic in Plug-ins. Like workarounds like these.
  10. Its all been said jaggies and that. I just misread the voids intent and yeah I am jealous that my tendecy is to be complicated and not as simple but also I think that there are aspects of what I do that are really cool and have progressed really well. The void has a knack for making simplicity look great and its easy to do thats where the jealousy comes in, its like why didnt I think of that? And then I make some axes and see ohhh thats why. I also think that honest criticism is good even if it hurts, even I dont like it but it is a good thing. Yes! Jaggies are all fixed now! Now it's The-Void's turn to fix whatever was wrong (I didn't read anything) The idea of making an image huge and not having to antialias it during the making then resizing it was brilliant. By the way TheVoid, forgot to say you have to Stitch the clouds before you blur them. Max setting. Clouds, Stitch with max settings (download the plug-in), blur, contrast to the max.

  12. Well, time to work out some kinks. To be honest Bb00, I screamed "Yes!" in my head when you said you might not get your entry in *self-loathing*. I'm supposing that I'll make the MoonMedia Player in my free time. Unless we're not allowed to edit our posts Helio? That would be unfair to those who posted before the deadline extension (me).
  13. The antialias plugin recreates the pixels in contact with fully transparent as an outline. That works just as well as selection blur. Making a plugin that combines both of these wouldn't be such a pain, I bet. Anti-alias may also be a good start for bevels *has started on the Iron Browse icon for MSC entry*
  14. Oosh, you should just have saved the files. Reviving is bad.
  15. I present you the Sun and Steel operating system package. Wallpaper: ^Clickable Two windows (one active, with a halo on the text, and one inactive, without a halo), 9 icons (Folder, My pictures, My music, iTunes, Iron Browse [i'm proud of the bevel on that one], Paint.NET, JPG, BMP, PNG, I had two music files but I lost them  ), Start bar, Start menu, "More Programs": Had to save as a JPG because of stupid Photobucket's file size/dimension limits. That's the media player I made. Helio accepted it - check the discussion thread if you think I'm a filthy cheater. That's not true though, I'm only filthy. Sunlight, falling on your steel, Death in life is your ideal, Life is like a wheel...--Iron Maiden Now I can go rest in peace, bye bye
  16. That, and the number of topics about saving histories (says the creator of one)
  17. Myrddin was saying to check out the tutorials to find some ways to make cool backgrounds .
  18. Absolutely. Honestly, I dowloaded a trial of Photoshop, because I had to remove some noise on my wallpaper, and also to try it out, and I hated it. There's just waaaay too much in there. Just like the Gimp. That's why I just never use them.
  19. Try this: 1)Select the part you want to blur. Copy+Paste it on another layer. 2)Use the antialias plugin at huge width. 3) Merge the layer with the antialiased selection down. 4) Gaussian/Fast Blur.
  20. You want to use the paintbrush () and make a border (I think it can be a little squiggly, doesn't really matter) with it. To change the size of the paintbrush, first, you need to have the paintbrush tool selected. Look at the toolbar, just under where it says File Edit and some other stuff, and it should say "Brush width:" and a number beside it. Select this number, and type "20" instead. Or you can click on the little arrow pointing downwards, and select "20". And remember, for this kind of question, try using the help files (on the toolbar where it says "File", click on "Help", and "Paint.NET search". Type in your query, and it should find something to help you).
