Here's an attempt to make an animated shining image: If you look closely you can see it glowing. I didn't master the effect yet. I might make a tutorial on how to do it once I do.

I try to do it but it doesn't work. When you use the Gradient tool and start to move the gradient around using the Shift button it doesn't stay straight.

Those seem kinda dull. That last one is alright though.

The Theme Masters Competition* (*or Contest) I'm just saying that since you make an image based on the theme.

It's actually a Gears Of War symbol render. I made it black then inverted the color to white and I set the layer it was on to Glow for the effect. Here's a bigger version:
